Still, gotta love the harmony of fire, ice, and lightning. http://pldh.net/media/dreamworld/199.png |
I genuinely had no idea Nix had fire powers, since all she did was capture people in those black column things and teleport around the place. Unlike Kuo who actually used ice, I don't think I've ever seen Nix use a fire attack.
Now you've described Nix's powers as granted to Cole, it sounds so awesome, I'm glad to get the chance to play the other side of the fence but I'm almost regretting not picking this powers? At least Nix forgives me. |

Besides, you'll have to play through it twice anyway. There are two endings like the first game, one good and one evil. They are very twist ending-y, so I won't give away the details beyond that the two endings exist. |

I really didn't like the first one when I played it, but that was like four years ago and around a friends. I do plan on picking it up though and having another crack at it, I also heard the save carries? So that might be my incentive to see the second ones second ending. |

I played my two new games today.
Resistance SUCKS but MotorStorm Apocalypse is loads of fun, it's a shame the online is dead. |

I love arcade racers, they are frustrating as anything but I feel the simulation racers drain all the fun out of a race. Plus I've always been pretty good at them, not that you can tell since the only people who play online are veterans with lightspeed cars.

I'm sure everyone knows there are those games they can just go back to time and time again because they're just so addicting to you...
Right now I'm playing StarTropics on my old NES again, and the magic is still there for me. I remember renting the game so much for our local video store as a kid. In fact, I believe it was the game I rented the most out of any other game. I didn't want to return it for fear of a kid erasing all my work. It is seriously still fun for me, much like TMNT IV: Turtles in Time, another game I go back to time and time again, but can beat in an afternoon. StarTropics takes time, but it never really feels boring, and I still remember the code you have to input at a certain point in the game by heart. StarTropics II: Zoda's Revenge on the other hand... I do wish Nintendo would revisit the franchise though. |
