Ah, I missed out on the Ryuteioh minipla set again. Got an e-mail from Figinstock at like 3 AM in the morning but obviously wasn't awake then. lol.

I put together Sasori Voyager and almost didn't notice that it comes with a separate elbow joint for use when it's an arm.

Oushi Black and Ookami Blue didn't come with elbow pieces, did they? I'm going to feel extra-stupid if I threw those sprues away without noticing.

There is one for washi voyager and sasori but not for any of the first set.

Looks gooood! Did you only repaint the grey parts silver and then added silver details where it was missing? I'm thinking of doing some repainting too but still not sure to what extent because there are a lot of colours and can add up if I use spray cans.

I sprayed all the grey parts silver, the gold parts on the Shishi voyager then hand painted any of the details that needed stickers. I think the only sticker I used (other than the Kyutama) was the top of Shishi's cockpit, because that part didn't have any moulded detail.

Series 2 and 10 box series 3 are available again.

The end result looks really good. What paint did you use for the silver?

I have good news for Zyuohger mini-pla owners:

So I've received enough of my Zyuohger mini-pla to create Wild Tousai Dodeka King.

He's cool, I see where the designers went with it, it's a neat design- especially in the show- but as a mini-pla it doesn't translate well as a toy. Does that make sense?

It's basically just a giant brick- it can't really do much.

So I spent pretty much all evening, yesterday, thinking of a way to re-configure everything into an ultimate combo that has much better articulation + looks better- and after tinkering around for a while, getting frustrated, thinking there might not be a way: I figured it out.

You need a 2nd Tousai Zyuoh to do this- but here's the thing: You'll only need the hip and ankle joints. The good thing about that is: When you assemble it all, there won't be any major/main replicate parts of Tousi Zyuoh anywhere, so you won't even be able to tell that a 2nd one was ever used. ^_^

I have the upper body finished right now, and I'm waiting for my 2nd Tousai Zyuoh to arrive next Monday- so once it's finished: I'll show you. ^_^

Key differences between my combo VS the default Wild Tousai Dodeka King combo:
1) It uses Cube Whale Megazord's head, so already your head can turn 360 and look up or down.
2) It will now have a backward + forward ab crunch. ^_^
3) It will have a waist joint.
4) Fully articulated arms and legs.
5) Everything has a place- and even though you might think that'll make it unstable, so far, my upper body is super stable- everything's good and tight.

So come Monday, I'll post it for you and see what you think! I'm super excited! ^_^
