... I was so ready to take the bazooka as a great extra, but looking through the product shots it seems to come with gingared INSTEAD of the sword. The extended sword is nowhere to be seen in any product shot and it's not in the box image either.

Disappointed that the Zeo figures still don't have the collapsed sword. However, at least they have their special weapons. Hope they somehow manage to give us Zeo Blue's tonfas without us having to buy the whole figure again.

Yeah, kinda bummed me out too. I understand why they’ve done it but the Lost Galaxy Rangers without a proper Quasar Saber just doesn’t seem right to me. Also I wanted to be able to sell my LG/Psycho Red 2-pack so I can finally be rid of that extra Psycho Red :lol

I just... I just don't get it. The bazooka is an awesome new thing to do especially as LC hasn't really done anything like it before, but you get very limited poses out of it; and the full sword is both the iconic weapon of this team and easily the one you'd get most use out of. If you were to replace anything surely it'd be the dagger version?

Every time it feels like this line is taking a step forward - this wave being entirely 'team fillers', all the others coming with their important accessories including large shields, rereleases of figures that should never have been 2-packed to begin with, making interesting new accessories beyond what's necessary - they have to do something dumb to compensate.

That's Hasbro in a nutshell for you.

Unfortunately LC is likely to get hit by it extra hard since they outright said awhile back that PR was one of their lower priority lines.

Atleast they do still seem to be taking criticisms into account overall. So hopefully we'll be on more of an upward slope like how their Star Wars line has been in recent times.

It looks like leaks have already locked in SPD Green and LG Blue for Wave 9. Also very likely Zeo Yellow though not completely 100% known.

I know what I want aight? I know there wasn't much credence to it, but IIRC both SPD Green and LG Blue were a part of that rumor. Though I guess going by that, Mercury Ranger would be the one who'd most likely be a part of the Wave...
