Personally, I would advise starting with something that is basically designed to be a start. That is, Ichigo, Black, Kuuga or Zero-One, depending on the tolerance for the old shows. But it’s better to just choose the hero that looks the most attractive to you, and if the first episodes don’t discourage you from watching further, then crossovers and additional content will inevitably lead you to the next riders.

If you were and your friends became Riders for the Desire Grand Prix, what kind of Raise Buckles would you create alongside Magnum, Ninja, Beat, Zombie & Monster?

I would go for a number of things!
ex.
  • Vampire
  • Dragon
  • Nephilim
  • Alien
  • Cyborg
  • Werewolf
  • Elf/Faery
  • Samurai
  • Pirate
  • Police
  • Medic
  • Mummy

I want a Basilisk-based power, mainly because I don't see those often and I want that to change.

I've heard Zero-One is a great intro series, so whenever I finally get around to watching it, I'm going to make my gf watch it with me as her intro to Rider :lol

Would you say Den-O is another good intro series? I ask simply because it was so popular that I'm sure it set the stage for a lot to come, and it's always nice to start with the original influence.

Honestly, considering most of the shows are completely standalone, I think any Rider show that looks interesting to you is a good starting point, even Decade or Zi-O if you want to start off with some samples of the other shows.

The only series I'd advise against is Ghost, because it will probably put you off the series all together.
