Happy birthday! I confess, I have been to London like, twice in my life! The majority of my life has been spent around the Midlands, South West and (sadly not enough) in Wales!

I'm watching Tomb Raider (2018) and Scooby-Doo 6 Scoob! this week. Not sure if Scooby was a stream exclusive.
After Black Widow it will be Avengers 3 and 4. The other movie will be Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Vs Batman. I'm holding out for the new Jurassic movie and Jumanji 4 |
So stoked- my girlfriend just randomly bought me 4 Figuarts I was putting on my wishlist on a popular store’s page, because,as she says,
“I like to see you run around like a drunken toddler” when I get Rider stuff in…. Are there any Dr Who figures out there? I’d like to get her something cool- Let a brother know, thanks in advance! |
I'm watching Scooby-Doo Mystery Incorporated (11th series) on DVD.
On my PS 1 Classic Mini I'm seeing what PS 1 Games might be worth getting. I may get a PS 1 anyway if I buy enough games. Ebay might have Doctor Who Figure Arts there but if the price is decent try for new. Or Amazon might have some. |

That was rude.
I've had to dump TV shows from my Netflix Disk Rental list. Here's what happened - I was watching Doctor Who 1963 and I'd get through 2 segments and the disk would not play at all even after using glass cleaner and TP . I even blew the dust out of the DVD player same deal. So I've had to dump episodes off my rental list. Now due to this I will have to buy them. All TV shows. |

Yes. I just dropped all the TV shows from my disk list. The episode disks get over run way too much.
I'll be buying TV shows. Netflix will be movies only. I get the disks I can't play them so TV shows I will need to buy new so I have time to watch them. Doctor Who has 4 to 8 episodes per mini series and that's how they release. By mini series. I have the 6 part Flux mini series on order at the moment. |
Funny story I have about Netflix's DVD rental service. I remembered using it as a kid, so for a solid year or two after they went big as a streaming service I just thought everyone was suddenly really into rentals. Things made a lot more sense after I realizes their main business model had shifted!

People still have some sort of disk player.
I have most of the TV shows I watch owned on fresh copies and new disks which nobody has watched yet. The other reason is that shows get removed from Netflix before you can finish them. (Warehouse 13 and the Librarians are two cases I've seen it happen.) Also said shows may not be there to rent. If I own a show on DVD I can take my time on it and finish it clean without the disk deciding not to work so as of this morning for reasons stated I dropped Netflix back to movies only. Also Power Rangers is no longer there for disk rental. I looked and they were almost all gone to rent. Sorry about the bad news on Power Rangers. |
Tonight was the inaugural Whatever Night Stream (name pending) on the YST server and since I was the mad lass who suggested, volunteered, and did it anyway regardless of anyone else's feelings on the matter, I got to pick the programming.
So it was the first six episodes of Samurai Troopers followed by the first two episodes of: - Shinkenger - Gaim - Fourze - Ghost It went over quite well. And unsurprisingly the handful of people that tuned in loved everything... except Ghost. Can't say I blame them on that. And even more surprisingly, Fourze was met with universal praise. Anyway it went over well enough that I'm going to be doing more over the course of the week since I'm off until March and we're discussing the possibility of turning this into a weekly thing with different people hosting. |
I have one more on Flux.
The new Doctor Who has been interesting. It makes sense to do a 6 part mini series. I wonder if given COVID 19 this will become a regular format starting next series. |
And today marks 31 years on this earth, despite the best efforts of several government organizations, 11 of which I didn't know existed until last night, and one very determined resident of southern Canada.

I always assume people here are in their late teens/early 20s! Hopefully you?ll have a good day |
I have untreatable depression and it causes insomnia like you wouldn’t believe..
So I bought a buncha Figuarts because awaiting toys from AmiAmi makes me feel better temporarily. Mental health is no joke |

What's the point of editing out violence in a M rated game? |
