I'm going through Victory road right now, half of my team is at Level 60, the other at 55, i'm really feeling it and i'm ready to go to the league with this team!

Okay, so far I have 4 competitive Pokemon teams.
OU: tested
SandRoom: needs testing
UU: needs testing
RU: needs testing

When will I test them? I have no idea.

Man, training for the E4 sucks in HGSS. Every time i beat the 8th gym none of my Pokemon are at level 40. They're always around 32-37.

I just wish they could've made the levels on Pokemon better, especially the wild ones. Nobody wants level 15 Pokemon at the 7th gym...

Those difficulty spikes are what's preventing HGSS from being the perfect Pokemon games in my eyes, i have a hell of a time trying to beat Lance and Red.

The best place I've found to train is on the new route between Cianwood and the Safari Zone. You need Waterfall to get to the grass and the Pokemon are level 31-35.

What I do is find Dittos and let them transform into my Pokemon and KO them to get the most EXP. The Miltanks are also good to train on but they're hard to take out with physical attackers and will eat up the PP of your moves fast causing you to go back to a PC to heal.

I have a question for you guys. If I restart X/Y, what happens to my Friend Safari pals?

I think they stay the same, the type is set for each user and doesn't change.

I think so too. But I'm just wondering what about the "third" Pokemon in the FC list? The one where both you and your friend have to be online at the same time to unlock?

My guess is that they won't be available anymore, which is a major shame.
