I didn't know that Ishinomori hated Masked Rider so much! I knew it wasn't universally liked, but I only had so much to go on as I only have sporadic memories of the adapt. I wanted to see if there was a way around it though, and I personally believe it's worth trying again, but only if done correctly. The plausibility isn't there, but I'll leave room for possibility.

What was up with the “Power Rider” trademark? Did Saban have the intention of adapting another series or was the name just trademarked to prevent any rival competition? Or was it for something else entirely? I don’t think it ever got renewed.

I know. It would've established Gorenger through Jetman into the PR universe.
I don't care who appeared in Super Megaforce. That is entirely irrelevant to me to bind my hands because of which powers or keys appeared in that garbage.

If i were the owner, i would bring back the original 40 episodes single season.

It's possible that Saban had interest with doing another Rider show. The trade mark was put online when Samurai was airing. Rumor had that Saban had all of Shinkenger footage. Saban using Decade would make sense if they want to introduced him in Samurai or Super Samurai. However I'm going to bet the name "Power Rider" was probably nothing.

I'm in the camp that it was just to prevent rival competition from using the name.
Like when Marvel made Spider-Woman just to keep someone else from using it.

Irrelevant to you, but not to Saban and to the hundred-to-thousand kids who saw those forms and couldn't find any old PR analog until a Google search or two led them to Super Sentai (pure speculation, but plausible). Suffice it to say, Super Megaforce is canon and any use of older Sentai has to account for the first "technical" use of those forms. Sadly, personal feelings don't matter at the corporate level. However, there are more reasons than that as to why it still wouldn't work. Just a few bullet-points:

- Gorenger: First Sentai. Really want to tamper with this outside of Sentai unless its a direct Sentai vs. PR Crossover? Also, four of them were in the Action Card Game.

- JAKQ: Playing Cards. Most kids probably know what a Bicycle Deck is, but kids shows have to be careful with that knowledge. Only Big One would make sense.

- Battle Fever J: Too many problems to count. Miss America has a wig, One might be insensitive, another has the flag of the old Soviet Union. Just no!

- Denjiman: Would Marvel Copyright matter?

- Sun Vulcan: Same answer for Denziman? Also, what about the suits? All cloth back in this day. VulEagle also in the ACG!

- Goggle V: Honestly, I wish they would made the gems in Overdrive a reference to this team.

- Dynaman: English parody of itself in America once upon a time.

- Bioman: Another English Dub.

- Changeman, Flashman, Maskman: Could be made to work. You know what I've said about these three and Super Megaforce.

- Liveman: Perhaps.

- Turboranger: Like Dynaman, the team name is displayed prominently. Also, they apparently served as inspiration for the Titanium Ranger as there are design similarities. Possible overlap?

- Fiveman: Perhaps.

- Jetman: Iconic series! Really want to shove this into PR? Also, what about the Gatchaman theme?

Unless I suddenly became Saban, they are irrelevant to the matter at hand. The question isn't "What if you became the owner of Saban Entertainment," but if the Power Rangers franchise just up and falls into your hands.

What is the point of any of this?

What makes JAKQ's playing card motif confusing? What makes Gorenger so impossible to use? Why does Sun Vulcan's suit materials matter?

All I said was, if I somehow owned the Power Rangers franchise, I'd create a series of miniseries to tie the 15 prior Sentai in to the PR mythos. Zordon's war against evil, Rita, and Zedd has been noted to range on for thousands of years across the cosmos, which is ripe to be explored. I figured, perhaps the Dino Rangers (Which Ninjor basically created, since he made the Power Coins) weren't Zordon's first team, and perhaps the past Sentai could fill in the gap as well as explain Zordon's entirely unexplored history.
I also wanted them to be miniseries, only explaining the teams' histories, not their entire adventures and tenure as the X-Rangers. 10-15 episode stories detailing their formation, how their powers came to be and their connection to Zordon. Move on before we see what happens to them and their end to leave space open for more adventures, but not dwelling on them for too long.

All I'm trying to do is have fun, think of the various ways the past Sentai could be changed and fit into the PR universe. How Zordon made the Gorengers, or perhaps if they influenced Zordon to make more Power Rangers throughout the universe, which is why I'd create miniseries' if I owned the franchise to explore that.

But no, you take this shit way to seriously. Now I have to deal with the logistics of "What if a kid doesn't know what an ace of spades is? We can't have that. Only have Big One" or "Turboranger has the word "Turboranger" appear. It wouldn't work. Axe it."

Also, what do you even mean by "the team name is displayed prominently"? Do you know how many Power Rangers shows there's been where the Japanese name has been on show and the production staff clearly couldn't care less?

A miniseries would be cool. What might be fun if we were able to use "Forrest Gump" style technology and insert a time-travelling Ranger group that has to save Rangers from long ago, incorporating Zordon somehow. If they had to shift into dimensions, that could explain the older film look, too.
