I just caught this watching Ultraman Taiga and thought it was cute. The traffic sign has the names of the Tri-Squad members written on it. I wonder what the "78" stands for. I don't think there was an Ultraman show airing at that point, my first guess was the year Ultraman Taro came out but that was '73.

I remember watching GaoGaiGar before watching toku. The reference flew over my head back then but I get it now.

There's also the previous entry in the brave series before gaogaigar- brave command dagwon- which is basically an animated sentai.... Heck they even did the same thing that toei later did with magired and magiyellow having similar designs with their own red and yellow..... Even down to the same themes of fire and lightning
