After the last confirmation I may start streaming again.
Cobra Kai Series IV Is out and Power Rangers Dino Fury Part 2 (21 - 40) release in March and I would also like to finish Beast Morphers this spring. Discovery Series IV and Picard Series II run on Paramount + but I want to wait for DVD on them. After I finish the 3rd Doctor I'll see the rest first run on DVD when I buy them. |
Well, I've been away for a bit, while I focused on recovering, and I'm happy to say, I'm back to normal, or at least, I don't have any red flag symptoms anymore.
Ah, Digimon! Something near and dear to my childhood, the classic theme song forever burned into my brain (great theme song). I haven't seen Digimon since Xross Wars (or Digimon Fusion as it was localized as, since that was the one I saw), though I've thought about getting back into it and the games. Ghost Game looks interesting, and I've been planning on picking up Cyber Slueth for ages, maybe it is time to dive back into the digital world. |
I've caught up Doctor Who and there are 3 specials. Having done that I'm doing back catch up with 1963 and will soon start the 4th Doctor.
I need to watch The Planet Of Giants (1st Doctor) The Chase (1st Doctor) The Invasion (2nd Doctor) Infirno (3rd Doctor) And a few others. Also Pocket Monsters on DVD. |
Welp, got back after a week's vacation only to find that on top of six-day weeks, they're dropping 10-hour shifts on us and I
Am turning my badge in on Saturday because I have had enough. The money's good, but not good enough to deal with this constant hurricane of crap. |
My stress levels have been all over the place with global politics (There's not much I can say without breaking the site rules), my family member passing away, my sister's dog being sick, and not having a job anymore.
Normally, I hate having my head stuck in the sand, but I do like that this site can a break for me when it comes to the bad shit that I have to deal with daily |

I rarely watch cable TV anymore, but I have the German morning show running while I eat breakfast and get ready for work, and today I was rather... surprised.
You might or might not be familiar with the German rockband "The Scorpions", they are kind of legends, look them up if you have the time. Now, they had a new album released last week and did an interview on the show to advertise it. And now the point why I'm posting this here: Look at the background and you might spy a familiar resident of the Land of Light. The question that will haunt me at least for the rest of the day: Are the Scorpions fans of Ultraman or is Ultraman a fan of the Scorpions? :lol |
So I just found out that Spice and Wolf is coming back to anime and, like, I'm kind of freaking out because I never thought it would happen. 2022's gonna be a wild year.

Point being it was the video for "Rock You Like A Hurricane" because I couldn't think of any good jokes due to being over-exhausted. |
I have now seen all of Doctor Who 1963 Series I (1963 - 1964) on DVD with the exception of Mini Series 4 Marco Polo Parts 1 - 7. The Planet Of Giants and The Chase from the 1st Doctor are on DVD. These 2 will very nearly complete my first run of the 1st Doctor. Others not seen will be due to missing episodes.
I've also seen most of the 2nd and 3rd Doctors but will watch any missed when I buy those disks. The mini series I did see is due to Netflix disk rentals. Due to how expensive stream feeds and cable have gotten I watch TV shows on DVD. I won't even turn on over the air TV any more. |
I've been debating watching Pretty Cure lately. Anyone here feel strongly about it and want to either push me towards or away from watching the series? I don't know too much about it, just that is is a huge and popular magical girl series known for having more physical fights than normal.

So today I was informed that someone created a Godzilla Analogue Horror thing, where I immediately thought someone was messing with me after having recently had a bizarre Godzilla dream (which now that I think about, would make a perfect Godzilla horror story).
So, in the dream, I was going to G-Fest, where I was the roommate for this guy (whom I'm going to refer to as "Joel" since I believe it was something with a J), who was restoring some old film of an unmade Godzilla movie from the 60's I never heard of called "Apocalypse: Godzilla" which was also getting a remake as the next big Godzilla movie. The movie was set in a post-apocalyptic world where the major world powers nuked the giant monsters, and they were slowly dying from the fallout, but new ones were adapting through the environment. It featured some new monsters, most of which were these skeletal things, a monster only known as "Tsujira," a bird-like monster, and a new Godzilla design which looked like a mix between Gyakushu Goji and Mosu Goji's suits (Raids Again and Mothra, respectively), but a bit like a prototype Shin, which were all pretty unsettling for designs from the 60's. Now the film Joel was sifting through was archival footage from the short production of the movie before being ultimately scrapped intended to be used in a Godzilla documentary but was cut because of some bad history with the director. The clips included: Godzilla marching through a ruin, a skeletal beast making a kind of laughing noise, "Godzilla People" attacking some soldiers, two guys in hazmat suits wandering past some half-skeletonized corpses before one of them collapses, and boy was the audio he spliced in not eerie, or the fact that everything moved ominously slow. And for the creme de la cromme, the last bits were of this guy walking through an old studio with the suits and props (all rotting away, if you've seen any of those images of old suits) at night, talking about what led to the cancellation of the project, before the Godzilla suit started pulsating. Sometimes I wonder what my subconscious cooks up... |
I now have enough Doctor Who Generation I episodes on DVD for 1 a week. Ongoing phase in with 2 disks a month. I had shipped in nearly all of Series I except for mini series 008 The Reign Of Terror which I will order 1st week of April . Also The Planet Of Giants Parts 1 - 3 to add a further 9 weeks.
I started this week with the pilot version of Part 1 An Unearthly Child. March 2022 Story 001 An Unearthly Child Parts 1 - 4 April - May 2022 Story 002 The Daleks Parts 1 - 7 2023 is the 60th of Doctor Who. |

I've completed Heartcatch (finally!) and the original particularly would be cool to watch one day, I do generally prefer shows like Cardcaptor Sakura and Shugo Chara to the really big franchises from Toei like Sailor Moon and Precure but I'll still watch them and PGSM 2003 I love!
|
Stream might start in April or May.
Dino Fury Part 2 (21 - 40) and Cobra Kai Series IV are up for me. In 2023 I may swap over to Hulu for The Orville Series III New Horizons and Futurama Series X. Watching TV shows on DVD mostly. With this in mind I started Agatha Rasin from Acorn TV (Stream exclusive). Also watching Fuller House from Netflix on DVD. |

So, I was watching a No Laughing Batsu Game (Gaki no Tsukai), in which a group of 5 comedians receive a punishment when they laugh, and they go through a set of absurd scenarios to get them to laugh.
That aside, one such situation was watching a person be put into a wrestling lock, and have someone else hammer away at his crotch with a rope tied into a knot...Thing is, he looked strangely familiar. https://i.imgur.com/xB8OlrU.png Sorry for the lack of pixels. But in the video, things were more clear, so I looked him up, and lo and behold. I just ended up watching Gentarou's teacher from Fourze basically get tortured :lol |
The Sentai franchise future will depends of Donbrothers performance.

I wish I had a dollar for everytime when I see people that think the next Super Sentai show is the last one. I would pay off my credit card debt now.
|
If sentai were to end or take a break, the producers would announce it well ahead of time. Hell, that might even boost the sales
|
People were also talking about the end of Kamen Rider since 2002 when Ryuki was airing as well. Seeing that Sentai has been on going since 1979 with a new show every year, it would have stopped by now.
|
People have also been doomsaying Sentai since ToQger.
"No sales have lived up to Kyoryuger. It's probably being cancelled after this season." |
Someone just said hi to me as I walked past in uni, and now I'm freaking out as to whether this person is some acquintance I've forgotten or if I'm just imagining things.

I just say "Hi" in return and hope they don't try to strike a conversation :lol |
East Side Games (The creators of Trailer Park Boys Greasy Money) are doing both Star Trek Lower Decks and a Doctor Who game. I may need to keep my phone free for both of these. This now marks the 5th mobile Doctor Who game.
BTW Trailer Park Boys is an anime series from Netflix. As for Don Bros here's a possible reason After 46 series they could have run out of ideas and want to come up with something fresh before doing a new Series. It isn't always about ratings but rather a case of no fresh ideas so if that holds they may skip a year or so to try to come up with something fresh. So if this theory is correct they may do a filler while they come up with a new idea. |
If anything happens to Sentai it might get a budget cut. It isn't doing nearly badly enough to just flat out die yet.
|
Anyone know where I can find a list or checklist of some kind for the Shinkenger Secret Discs? I just got a whole bunch in a lot and I have... no idea what most of these are.
|
Well I'm considering Paramount + in April due to Star Trek.
Also I have Shinken but as the text on the DVDs is Japanese I couldn't tell you. I just have the regular episodes. |

I wish I could leave this wretched, worthless, racist piece of dogshit planet without causing others pain. Because life is f*cking pointless and boring AF

Here's a source, for anybody curious.

You mentioned "racist," so I assume you had some sort of unfortunate experience (to put it lightly.) So think: is there something you can do to prevent others from experiencing the same thing? Maybe join an advocacy organization, start an online campaign, write articles addressing the issue, or something else? And even if whatever you do feels insignificant at the time, it'll build. Of course, you're in control of what you do, and you don't have to do any of that if you don't want. |

Yeah… thanks dude, but this is not at all any help understanding or dealing with untreatable severe depression. Now,at 57, I’m trying desperately to stay alive, not deal with nice platitudes. But thanks for the concern, none of this matters anyways. All just a crock of unfair hypocrisy in the entirety of the world. Easier just to walk into traffic with my eyes closed |
