It's a show about 5 people in spandex punching monsters in the face- it wouldn't have the complexity to deal with the issues across a whole series. Unless it was explained well, children watching probably wouldn't understand (and, as much as I like Power Rangers, the writing isn't the best out there), and when its so much easier to write him, as Matrix said, as generic badass number 412, that's what they'll do, and I'll take that over a badly-handled autistic character that never acts like it in suit, and that shouldn't be the focus of his character anyway.

I've never actually seen any Power Rangers series in its entirety. I'm hoping to get started with RPM, but I must say that I'm also really really looking forward to Ninja Steel. I like the Ninninger designs (suits, mechs, cheeseburger), but I don't hear a lot of good things about the show itself.
