The more I discuss this show, the more I realise how bad it is, and the more I wonder why I haven't dropped this yet.

If you define the word funny as 'random incoherent nonsense' then you'll love this, otherwise steer clear.

So I finally got around to watching the fifth episode. And it was...another crap one.

Gan was a lot of fun, and this is the second duel to feel more like a proper fight but Gan's suit is ugly as hell and the sheer ratio of random nonsense to action and story is still way too broken for me. I think I'm done with this show.

Yeah, I think this is going to be one of those shows that you either love or hate. Personally, I love it. I'm still grabbing the raws and watching them both without and with subs because I don't want to wait until mid-week when TVN puts up their version (which is apparently the only one, as GUIS hasn't gotten past episode two - I'd mind more, but when your promo screen shot has a blatant typo in it you lose some of my interest, especially when TVN's version is far less TVN-y than I'm used to).

Still not too enamored with the show after 5 eps, but I will stick with it til the end because I want to see how it all unfolds. Secretly I want to see Hitomi naked at least once (never gonna happen but I can hope).

The raw for episode six is up. This week the Imagin try to figure out what sushi is and we get some really cliched backstory for Gou and Jin.

At this point it is very obvious to me that this show is the child of Den-O and Garo. She takes after Garo in the looks department, but her personality is all Den-O. Also, she likes taking her shirt off a lot. It's a weird combination, but I'm still having fun with it.

You know, for such an unique show it plays itself suprisingly safe, hopefully the 5 reuniting shakes up the formula.

Usual Shougeki stuff on ep 5: crazy antics, impressive visuals and ok fights.
