I ended up buying this Gokai-oh with TRU's bogo and also got the legendary morpher. He may be missing a few paint apps but short of his chest cannon, I am having a lot of fun with him. Seeing him in person and realizing, hey a Gokai-oh I can really play with and I won't have to just display because he has fragile parts and hard to replace.
I was a big naysayer of this figure, but now I say, give Gokaioh a chance. (sorry legendary megazord is too generic to use, cause every megazord is legendary to me) |
Looks pretty much like I expect a BOA Megazord to look. Not perfect, but not terrible either, just a likeable version of the mech.

It looks good, but it makes me wish I picked up the Gokaiger version a hell of a lot more now. Oops..

I will own this simply because it's Pirate themed. That's the only thing that matters in this life, haha

I've been torn between going after the Japan release or the American one. The BOA ones always disappoint in some way, though the proportions are nicer (especially on the Samurai Megazord). Still, for Super Megaforce, I think I want the show-accurate opening doors on the Megazord. Still, I could not stop myself from buying the BOA release when I happened across it at Wal-Mart. So, what's the plan? In a situation like this, just do what many collectors do: get both. For now, the BOA release will have to do until the BOJ one comes in! |
I'm actually thinking about getting this one!

I've had this for a while, and I really quite like it. I just wish there was a way for his hat to securely attach to the other Megazords. Absurd, I know, but it would be awesome.
