Some rumors I saw floating around earlier in the thread...

Something about TOEI not licensing more Sentai past Ninninger and Hasbro switching from live-action to animation after Beast Morphers.

You had fans that was hoping that the 2017 PR movie would do that, but didn't. It could have made PR be more popular and respected if it didn't fail at the box office. That movie could have done better if they didn't release it in March when you had Beauty and The Beast and Kong: Skull Island that month.

Probably in the comics, but I doubt we will get any movies or TV show crossovers. People thought we would get Pokemon Transformers crossover figures similar to the Transformers crossover toys of Marvel and Star Wars similar how Hasbro/Takara Tomy owns both of those franchises. It never did.

I doubt we will get any crossovers, but it could be cool if they did in a comic book like the DC and PR crossover.

Yeah, from what I’ve heard the only source of those rumors is Amit Bahik, and I don’t think he’s been involved with the franchise for over a decade.

Honestly....I think Power Rangers would be more successful in the US if they continued to make shows and stories based on the original rangers, as opposed to making a yearly sentai adaptation.

That would mean it would devolve into making the same 6-7 characters each year with different gimmicks - its like those non battlizer toys that we would see but had not bearing on the show that looked awful. i hate to say it but its also for the best because the show is run for not that much money any original footage is a cost they don't want to pay. Its a lot cheaper to make it an adaptation and im in favor of that but what i think they need is to keep more of the sentai premise but not adapt things that won't work in an american market. for example, in samurai don't make the gold rangers a guy who fishes and cooks fish all the time just because his japanese counterpart ran a sushi stall. come up with another reason.


also i want less of the in zord armor they did in samurai and ninja steel its POINTLESS. It doesn't get used anywhere because it american only and they are not going to shell out the cash for a fight scene with it.


More concerning to me is the legacy line, i was hoping for more of the classic morphers to be remade with improvements. im hoping that continues
