You can level up this water type early on, but you can get a stronger one later, so what's the point?

You can defeat the champion, but there is nothing post game beyond more Pokemon and a few more trainers, so what's the point?

The PokeWalker gives you access to normally unavailable some sometimes completely unobtainable Pokemon, but I can just cheat them in, so what's the point?

You can work on building a team and level them up equally, or you could just Pokesav in a perfect, fully leveled team, so what's the point?

This is a video game that grants nothing in the real world, so what's the point?

I only said this because, assuming the Walker is the reason, it actually makes HeartGold and SoulSilver more expensive than White/Black 2, almost by double the price and considering how old the game is, I'd hope the Walker makes your dinner for you considering how much the price has held.

Geez...I'm not that apathetic. I would also never Pokesav or cheat them in. I'm just saying that I never used the pokewalker, nor did I feel the need to. I'm content with the pokemon I can obtain in game. I just didn't see the appeal in the pokewalker.

Restarting my Pokémon HeartGold. Really bummed that my Spiky Eared Pichu got deleted though, they really should've made her transferable :/

I wanted to restart a Pokémon game so I could have something to play, and since I pretty much restarted Platinum already and Black, HeartGold was my only option. I checked my PC though, and found I didn't have my Pikachu-Colored Pichu, so I thought "Okay, I'll restart it, then trade that Pichu back so I can get Spiky-Eared again." Then I turned on all my games and realized I transferred it to Black 2 -___-

I also find that ridiculously stupid. The Spiky Eared Pichu had to be placed in HeartGold/SoulSilver during development, so they had to have known of it when making Black/White. Why they'd think nobody would want it is beyond me...

Same with the Surfing/Flying Pikachu you could get from the PokeWalker. :/

Not surprisingly, Gen 5 stumped me the most.
Chansey, Dunsparce, Spinda and Tropius, Rotom, and like, half of Gen 5 were the ones that took me the longest to remember :lol

Well, I'm still soft resetting my Heart Gold in hopes for a shiny Starter. So far- 3700 soft resets

Why?
Outside of Meganium, the Johto starter's shininess is completely underwhelming.
I think soft resetting for a beneficial nature is a better use of time.

Meh, just want one so it can be different :lol. Plus kinda like shiny Cyndaquil, Totodile is a bit meh, and Chikorita...why? It looks like it's leaf is about to fall off cause seasons are changing. To this day, I haven't had a shiny starter, besides a Shiny Charmander.

Psh. I've never had a Shiny starter.

Also, here's a fun little story involving a Shiny Pokemon. The first Shiny I ever encountered (A Duskull in Ruby), was, to date, the only time I didn't have any Pokeballs at all.

Last time I played Gold (the GBC one), I found a shiny Sentret in the bit you do before you get given Pokeballs ¬¬

I actually ended up training 2 Dusclops and a Dusknoir just because of that one Duskull I couldn't catch :lol

FireRed- technically, it was on my friends game, but he found a Geodude. Traded, and now he's a Golem
Poliwhirl/Surskit- found them in the same day in my Japanese Diamond, now they are a Politoed and Masquerain
Riolu/Lucario "Lucy 1/Lucy 2"- Lucy "1" is the mother of the current Lucy, hatched in HeartGold, bred, then unfortunately deleted. One of her eggs, which was traded to my Platinum, was traded back into HeartGold and hatched into Lucy "2" Lucy currently resides in Black 2
Gyarados- in my English diamond. Random fishing :lol
Pikachu- in HeartGold, now in Black 2
Pichu- promotional one

I've only come across a small amount of random shinies. 3 I think. Weedle back in Gold version, Buizel, and Golbat. The other shinies I have are trades, poké radar chaining, and RNG breeding.
