Forrest Whitaker's character in Rogue One was just announced as Saw Gerrera, from the Clone Wars cartoon.

That's pretty cool. ^_^

I love that Thrawn is absolutely still himself. Got too excited over the art line.

Also I'm reading that the entire Rebels panel was stupendous. Just started watching it now.

The dark troopers are a very nice touch as well. I love how Rebels takes some of the best out of the EU and reintroduces it into the canon.

I voted for Jania. Love her, love both of the novel series she's in. If there was a guarantee that Starkiller would have his armored Sith look I would probably have voted for him. Even then though, Jania still tugs a bit more for me in terms of wants.

I decided to go with Starkiller since I like him the most. I don’t care what version of him they make, I'll buy him anyways, but I'd prefer the Sith version.

What really surprises me is how Mara Jade is at the complete bottom. Aren’t people asking for her like all the time? Or is that a vocal minority? I don’t think it's because EU-guys aren’t voting, Jaina's in third place right now.

But Darth Talon… seriously? Put me in the camp of people who don’t get the hype behind this character. She's your cookie cutout Sith, and there's nothing really special about her except that she's a half-naked red Twi'lek chick... oh. That’s the reason, isn’t it?

Also, I hope the lack of Thrawn in the poll means that they've already decided on making him.

Thrawn is an automatic wave-worthy pre-order. I don't care if they stick him in a wave full of various Jar-Jars.

No shit. Wasn't she always 3rd place? Like I looked earlier today and Starkiller was in the lead, followed by Darth Talon and Jaina was in third.

It was close between Starkiller and Talon, they kept switching places, but Jaina was never first place in the last few days I looked at the poll.

But oh well, at least it's Jaina, I can get behind that. And they'll most likely do the runner ups anyways.

Is it too much to ask for something depicting the Siege Of Mandalore and the stories that took place during the events of Revenge Of The Sith that were ultimately never made it into The Clone Wars?

SO i have a question for you guys. I've been planning a Star Wars fan film and such and I wanted my actors to have something to look at and in the process save some money on effects so I was wondering what you guys thought of websites like Ultra Sabers and Saberforge for their combat lightsabers.

Ultra Sabers are very nice, high quality items, in my experience. I haven't owned a hilt of theirs for years (but it was fantastic and I loved it and miss it dearly), I do have one of their combat blades on one of my sabers, and it's very hefty, should withstand any combat that won't cause injury, and probably some that could.

They've had a booth at the last couple of Salt Lake Comic Cons, and they're probably one of the busiest booths.
I believe the local jedi dueling clan pretty much exclusively uses their sabers.

Geez, this brings back memories. God, toy stores used to be so awesome. Seeing walls of Star Wars, Transformers, Joe, etc. Getting old sucks.

Also is anyone tired of the Rouge One car ad that plays on YouTube? The one you can't skip? I get that Star Wars is a big thing, but variety in ads is something I like.

Having a film with no Jedi and new chars added a fresh dynamic, I really hope we can see the Rouge One cast expanded upon, I would love for them to show up in Rebels.

I wish it ended on a more somber note but it gets across the feeling of being in a war where your hopelessly out gunned well

I agree, it was really great. Think it actually might be my new second favorite SW film, after Empire.
The end action scene, in particular, was amAAAAAAZing!

As a stand alone film, it works better than Force Awakens.

I wish I liked Rogue One more than I actually did.

I mean I enjoyed it, but that first third or so was painfully slow. And I can't say I honestly cared about any of the characters, to the point where I don't even know/remember half of their names.

Still, the setting was great and the latter part of the film had some great sequences. Plus the ending was something I've wanted to a Star Wars film to do since the Clone Wars show started so kudos for that.

This is true. But at the same time I really compliment the film for not doing what so many movies do nowadays and have the characters talk more naturally to each other so they're not saying each others names in every single sentence.

Yeah, to its credit I thought that was well. Kind of a double-edged sword :lol

We have the official name for Episode 8. First thing that came to my mind was an angry Yoda: "Told you I fucking did, the last of the Jedi you will be!" :lol
