i'm mostly done with my HG Hi-Nu kit, and while it and the HG Force Impulse were fun, I really want to try out a RG now. I've watched a couple reviews on Youtube, and I'll like it, so I just ordered Aile Strike and the Skygrasper set on HS, along with a couple stands.
Now the question is, do I build the MG Sword/Launcher Strike or the RG Strike first? Because when ordering just now I forgot I got an MG over the weekend. |
N00b question but does Metal build Exia Repair I have parts to make regular Exia, like a left arm?

Does anyone have a size comparison shot of the 1/144th hg Gundam Delta Kai?
|
My cousin recently found MG Zeta (ver 1) at the local thrift shop, which he picked up to sell on eBay. It is partially assembled, it looks like it might have been roughly handled at one point, I saw a stress mark on some unfinished joint, and the v crest is broken (but there's also separate halves to form the v crest in another runner?), but it looks like it might be complete.
I gave him $15 for it, figured it would be worth that to try finishing it up, plus it could be a good kit to practice painting on and what not, since it might be incomplete. We'll see. I also got confirmation my order for RG Freedom at Mandarake, and added RG Destiny to my AmiAmi order (along with SHF Iron Man, yay!) for this month, and ordered RG Aile Strike and Skygrasper at HobbySearch. I'm totally done buying Gundam stuff until I get all this crap put together. |

well, don't hold your breath. I'm moving next week, and I still have to pack up at least a 3rd of my collection, plus the ton of crap I'm selling has to be boxed up and moved, and oh jeez can we actually get everything out of our house in time? aaaah!
Okay, I'm not really that panicky yet, but my wife is getting there. Whee! I'll try to make myself pack stuff as long as I can tonight, but I'll at least try and check out the assembled pieces for breakage, and see if I can determine if everything is present before I go to bed. |
New Gundam show maybe? Looks sorta like the love child between the Strike and the Freedom.

Ran across that image at Cybergundam as well and tried to run their article through translate. Apparently they're announcing a new series on July 2nd, 1/44 Gundam Maneuver is the only key phrase I can understand after translating though. |

Heard there was a rumor going around talking about how the next series is going to be called Origins or something like that,a retelling of the original series.

As previously stated, I got an MG Zeta via a used thrift shop.
The arms and legs were already assembled, and the head/torso pieces were assembled in their component parts, but not completely put together. So, I finished up the main suit body yesterday and everything was there (well, except for a couple of the small yellow accent pieces, that I expect came loose and got lost at the thrift store). But, the runner with all the rubbery joint pieces, is completely missing. So it looks like I can't build the wings, tail, shield and perhaps other stuff as well. Now, this is the 1996 version. Is there a way to get just that missing runner? Can I glue the pieces together that would otherwise require the rubber pieces? Or should I just not even worry about it, and maybe throw the extra pieces on eBay and see if anybody else needs them? Should I just plan on getting the second version someday? |
I don't think the image shown was Origin, just saying that the rumor of Origin was out there. This pic, this is a mix between Seed and G-Builders.

It's tough picking models you want to get when State of Decay is out and Tiny Tina's DLC comes out the 25th.So far I've gone through multiple different choices and prob wont make a final decision till the day of,but man it's tough. The Unicorn line is so great, with only a few weak suits.(One being my favorite and saddens me so)

Finished up the ol' ZZ. Pretty nice for an older Master Grade.

Anyways, I finished up my rewatch of G and I had forgotten how pointless the final four episodes were. It really should've ended away the Battle Royal. It's strange when all the episodes set in space feel tacked on. Also, it ends with "See you in round 14." I know there's a manga of that out there, but I still want that sequel. Soon, I plan to rewatch Wing because I realized it's been over a decade since I've seen it. |
Wasn't a Seed film announced way back when?

Does anybody here know anything about this kit?
http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10039386 What size it is completed, is it snap together or glue, is it complicated to paint? |
