Has anyone else been having difficulties with Yokatta lately? I'm aware of the "warehouse upgrades" or whatever on their Twitter, but I can't seem to get a hold of them anymore.
They were keeping up contact until I sent them money for the shipping, and then they dropped off the map. I've sent them quite a few emails over the last few weeks about it all and I've gotten nothing. Have they responded to any of you guys recently? |
Jungle has a sealed SHF Knight for 10,800. Exchange rate being what it is right now, that's exactly what I paid for mine back in November/December.

9000 yen Knight on Mandarake

Is Mandarake not offering DHL anymore? I snagged something from Sahra today, which is a location I have not done business with in the past, and my only options were SAL and EMS. I wasn't sure if it was just this location or a new thing overall.

S.H. Figuarts Drive is back in stock at HLJ for those who missed out. That includes the bonus.

Zord Builders
Bandai needs to add Power Rangers Dino Thunder, SPD, Jungle Fury and R.P.M. to the Zord Builders toyline, even if Saban would most likely be against the idea.
|
I'm thinking about picking up the Space Deleter mecha and Crack Saver from the previous series but don't really know where to look for them outside of Sirtoys. I'd like packaging if possible (which Sirtoys doesn't do), and Sirtoys only has all of the Saver set available. I also know there are Korean versions of the Savers (and maybe the Space Deleter mecha, too?), so that'd be an option.
Anyone know where else I can look for these figures? |
I actually have a space deleter (opened for a review) available: https://www.facebook.com/Tokullectib...type=3&theater

Is there any specific way to utilize the search on Mandarake to narrow it down to all Figuarts and Figma's other then the general way of searching? Like any specific words to use or anything like that?

Green Ammonite Zord at TRU
I had an email alert on this if it ever came back in stock and I just got a notification today about it. Oddly if I search, I can only find the blue Ammonite & purple Pachy Zords. If this is valid, this might be a good way to get a Green Ammonite as it looks like black Pachy will get re-issued in a Spino Megazord boxed set. |

So what're the chances of actually scoring the up-and-coming CSM Faiz Gear through these sites? Is every single unit of it sure to be snapped up instantly leaving nothing for us poor stateside souls?

Personally I'd recommend TT. |
For those looking for the Legacy Ninja Storm figures, TRU's website has all 3 in stock with free shipping on orders over $20. They also have the Legacy Green Ranger, but I didn't see any other MMPR figures.

Kamen Rider W came back in stock at AmiAmi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyone from the UK ever order from Mandarake? Curious at to what shipping is like.
|
The shipping itself is fine, I've never had a box go missing yet. The problem is customs - pretty much anything over ~£20 will catch an import tax of 20% (which in and of itself isn't too bad), but then they add an £8 charge on top of that because reasons.
|
Asking all UK/EU collectors: where's a good place to order Premium Bandai stuff frommwithout getting hit by customs charges.

Nin-Nin Game would probably be your best option but they can still be unreliable. They recently shipped out my OOO Driver and the stated price on that was lowered to try and avoid customs charges. You could also see about getting something shipped to an american friend who can then send you it as a gift. Otherwise, all the normal ones apply -- Zenmarket etc. |
Yeah, it's generally random chance. Mandarake seems to have the worst luck, but that might just be because they don't mark down, but then sometimes I'll get something easily over the customs limit just sail through. It's just a risk of collecting over here. You could go for a UK based store, but then that's gonna b marked up due to the extra handling needed.

anyone used Nippon Yasan lately? i was gonna order Figuarts Espada but noticed some bad reviews on Reddit and Trust Pilot.

Great news folks, I found a service that can finally take the place of the long-defunct Figinstock!

My last order from nin-nin-game finally arrived (again only after I messaged them after waiting a month after the item's release). And it's likely this will be my last order from them.
I don't think they are a scam site or anything, but you really need to stay on top of your pre-orders and make use of their messaging system if you want to get your stuff anywhere near on time. I still have no idea how their shipping works. |
Is it just a matter of orders being late?

I waited on an item for 2 months after the stated release date with no signs of shipping other than a "processing" status on my orders page. So then I created a support ticket and then they replied saying they would ship it, and it took about 2 weeks before they actually shipped it. Once they did, because it was DHL, it arrived in just a few days. My most recent order I waited a little over a month and same thing played out. The only time they have ever shipped me an item on their own volition was my first purchase from them many many months ago and even that was a little late compared to when the item started showing up at retail channels. As for the shipping costs, some of listings include the shipping (averages about $12.50 to the US) but others don't have shipping and it seems random. Buying an item with the included shipping, they'll make a fuss about paying extra to cover shipping costs once its ready to ship; and the ones without shipping you're kind of at their mercy for FEDEX and DHL, which is around $22+ At this point I just feel more comfortable ordering from Tokullectibles, Sure Things Toys, or Gundamplanet. |
Update for my Nippon-Yassan orders
Got an email this morning stating they reached maximum storage capacity and my item will be shipped by ferry, as they can no longer keep orders. So despite them alerting me I needed to change my shipping method, and my best efforts to try to at least confirm if they could consolidate my other items, they're just sending it off on a boat. But hey, at least I didn't have to pay for that "additional fee" Hopefully I get a tracking number once it's processed So yea, I wouldn't recommend these guys. Their prices aren't all that great and it takes several weeks to months for them to receive the item after the release date. But the deal breaker for me was their almost non-existing customer service. A backlog of tickets that don't get replies and a live chat that couldn't do anything related to shipping requests ( a feature they've since disabled ) TBH, I would even go as far as to recommend to just wait for the item to show up on Mandarake or such place over ordering from N-Y. Don't even use them as your last resort haha. If you absolutely need the item, there are better places out there. If you have any outstanding orders, I guess you can just wait it out for them to dump it on a boat eventually, so don't bother contacting them for a shipping change. |
Never use nippon-yassan!!’

Would you recommend BBTS as a retailer for people outside the USA/Canada?
|

For me, BBTS tends to get things a little later than everyone else. But they do have a hold-for-shipping system in the form of Pile of Loot which is great for combining shipping.

Cheap Neo Diend Driver, that is damaged in someway but I can't figure out how. https://order.mandarake.co.jp/order/...020201&lang=en Also a cheap Dark Z Riser |
Anyone know other sites to order Premium Bandai items besides BBTS, Nippon-yasan, or Tokullectibles?
|

I've also used kuramatoys.com with success. Their site looks real sketchy but they've always delivered for me. |

Hey so bbts has pre-orders up for tategami (32.99), elemental dragon (27.99), primitive dragon (27.99) and the saikou driver (59.99).

has anyone ever used Toys Wonderland?
|
Quote:
Like, selling obviously used stuff as new, trying to manipulate their public reputation by offering people gifts for lying about their service, and forcing buyers to film the unboxing of the item if they want customer support regarding broken or missing pieces. I don't know how they fair with other stuff but I personally would never do business with them just based on what I heard from Hot Toys collectors. |
