Well old dragon ball toys had it spelled as Buu. Perhaps this is just a different way of spelling it in Japanese and English languages.

It seems to be an english thing only.

We in germany have it written as Buu and the way its written in japanese using Buu is much closer.

I seen that's guy artwork before and he makes some awesome stuff. I think Goku's, Gohan's and Piccolo's body count would be higher if the artist added the filler, movie and GT villains to the body count. Goku pretty much killed every villain in GT expect for Mutchy Mutchy (killed by Trunks), Dolltaki, Dr. Myu and Nova Shenron. Goku also killed almost every pre-BOG movie villains expect for Garlic Jr, Bojack, Bio Broli and Janemba. I'm not sure if Broli counts since Goku may not been really there during the kamehameha fired by Gohan and Goten against Broli similar how Goku was with Gohan's kamehameha against Cell.

Dragon Ball Super also had a special manga chapter showing how King Kai got his planet back. It looks like that they use the Dragon Balls on Namek to wish them back.

Just watched Episode 3 of Super, were finally getting into BOG's story, yes!

BOO!! I was hoping for more development of Beerus as an actual god of destruction before he met Goku.

This is going to be interesting to see how they pull off the SS God stuff though since Pan won't be born for another 5 years. Unless Bulma's party is 5 years long.

I found Episode 3 rather weak compare to the first two episodes. It was rather boring. In the first episode they said sometime past since the last wish. So it makes me wonder if Beerus is awaken a year after Buu instead of 4 years.

It is 6 months after Boo's defeat, so Beerus woke up approx 4 years and 6 months sooner than he did in Battle of Gods.

Ok episode 4 was ok the confusing bit for me was pilaf with the raider how did he get. While in battle of God you could presumed they just found in draw in the capsule corp building.

Man episode 4 sucked. It was just needlessly drawing out 5 minutes of Battle of the Gods into a whole episode, and it very much looks like the next episode will be the same (and probably every episode after that until its out of redoing the movie). Pilaf really should have recognised Goten as kid Goku straight away, so unless they've dropped that bit altogether I have no idea why that's being delayed.

Most of the wow factor from Goku's first fight with Beerus was how short it was, so I have absolutely no interest in seeing it drawn out any longer than it was in the movie.

The movie didn't exactly give a reason for it either so it isn't that confusing. Besides, if you can assume that much then you can also assume that they would have needed it in the first place to collect the balls and make the wish that turned them into kids.

Pilaf and gang had the radar technology back during the Piccolo Daimaou arc in DB, so why are you surprised he had one now?

I haven't watched episode 4 yet, but since it is supposed to all about Pilaf, Mai, and Soba, I am looking forward to it. BTW, they forgot who Goku was over the years.

Forgot who Goku was. Even in Dragon Ball they didn't always recognize Goku at first whenever they ran into him. It usually consisted of, "Hey wait a minute... <stares at Goku for a moment> AH! YOU'RE THAT KID FROM BEFORE!!" I figure it is just to say that Pilaf is so stuck up in his selfish ways that he doesn't even usually remember anyone who he meets, especially those that foil his plans, perhaps out of denial.

Yeah that's my point. The vague recognition didn't even happen in the episode, despite them spending half of it with Goten and Trunks.

This show just continues to be such an utter disappointment. 4 episodes in and I feel that nothing has happened aside from the retcons of BOG.

I'm headed to the theater this afternoon to catch Resurrection F which I was excited for until it too ultimately went out of canon. Hope it's still at least a fun film. But my excitement has been severely lessened recently.

That's why I'm not too bummed that not only is it not showing in as many theaters as BoG did (only one Alamo Drafthouse near me, for example, which is the busiest one and impossible to get to from where I am at on a weekday... as opposed to all 6 last year) and visiting guests limiting times I can go. I just don't want to much now. I'll probably rent it for cheaper at some point, but I'm not super pumped to go to a theatre this time... Honestly disappointing.

I wouldn't say nothing has happened. They have been developing the characters. We also finally got to see Beerus do his job and it shows how spiteful he was until he met Goku and gang. Would you rather the show be nothing but action? Hell, if we could have 10 episodes for every 1 big action episode, I'd be down for that.

What do you mean until he met Goku? I suppose Resurrection F will further his character a bit, but I didn't get the impression that he'd changed all that much by the end of Battle of the Gods. His sparing of the Earth came from the fact the food was good and that Goku proved himself to be enough an amusement to be worth keeping around, not because he suddenly became particularly benevolent.

Well the thing with Beerus from the beginning always was that he isnt evil. He is the God of Destruction. Thats what he exists for and he has to do it no matter what.

The only thing Goku did was as you mentioned give him enough amusement to not destroy the earth...for now. He will eventually. He has to.

Just got back from the Resurrection F Premiere and man was that fun. I'm still a bit disheartened by Toriyama retconning the movies out for the elongated version but wow this was a good one.

The opening bit for Frieza was magnificent, won't spoil what it was but DEFINITELY stay after the credits to see that same thing come back. Marvel's post credit game has nothing on Resurrection F :lol

Overall the plot was quick where it needed to be, it focused on duller moments when needed to break up the action, and wow oh wow the action was magnificent this time. Whis & Beerus were on point as was Frieza. It was good to see him back if only for this one time.

I definitely found this to be a much better film that Battle of the Gods, the plot felt a lot less contrived and forced frankly.

So there is actual plot? I was worried it was just going to be non stop action.

Like 75% of the movie is action scenes, although the slow scenes we DO get are pretty fun, like Jaco scenes. I like Jaco, i'm glad he's gonna be in Super. :lol

Again there's more by comparison to BOG, which may not seem like much, but it's a more substantial movie with some solid exposition. The action is just top notch this time though. The second stringers even get in on the action in a good way.
Jaco was pretty damn fun, still really wish they'd adapt that manga into an OVA.

Personally I'd rather have something new rather than a drawn out rehash of the movies.

I hope the retelling of BOG in Super won't take too long. I hope they wrap it up by episode 8 at least. I do admit that Super is getting kinda boring. I do look forward on how they will retell ROF since they can show us on how Vegeta becomes a SSjG and how Freeza gets stronger.

I also do plan on seeing ROF later tonight in theaters at 7:00 PM with 10 other friends of mine.

I'm gonna be that guy but from what I've read so far GT is better than this crap.

It was bad but at-least they did something new from the get go.

Still too early to say that Super is better or worst then GT. GT was pretty boring to me until Bebi show up. GT jump the shark for me when they did the whole Super 17 saga. The Shadow Dragon saga was somewhat decent in my opinion.

I still do look forward on what Toriyama has in plan with Universe 6 an the other universes.

Agree. Its to early to say super worest then GT cause we are only 4 episode one and it ment to be 100 episode long so it might get better after the two retellings.
