That is really cool to hear.

My guess on how Chase gets his energem: In a flashback in America, maybe a little bit after arriving, he's skating by Moana's store & either saves her cat from being hit by a car or from being stuck in a tree and as a thank you, she gives Chase the energem stating that, as a psychic, she knows he's meant to have it & do great things with it. Those scenes I bet are shortly after he comes to America and he finds comfort in the Kiwi shop so later on, she asks him to guard it, setting up the premise for the episode.

As there are two episodes officially set in New Zealand, I think this might be one of them with flashbacks being set there maybe to show his life in NZ if he's explaining his background to the other Rangers. We know Chase's mom appears in an episode, and I think it's this one where she and his family makes appearances in flashbacks maybe if they're seeing him off at the airport or something to that effect.

08 - Double Ranger, Double Danger
When clone Rangers steal the real Rangers' irreplaceable tracking device, Fury learns the location of the powerful Ptera Zord.

09 - When Logic Fails
The Maze monster, working with Fury, captures the Rangers until Riley's logical mind helps them break free. But the delay has allowed Fury time to head toward the Ptera Zord.

10 - The Royal Rangers
When the Rangers find the Gold Energem among the Royal Treasure, they decide to impersonate a Prince and Princess to lure Fury in and gain control of the power Ptera Zord.

This is all listed in 2015 so I don't know if that refers to the year the episode airs, or the year they filmed whatever episode they're in.

In the episode with Spellbinder at the end when Sledge says there might be magic left inside the Amulet Vault that Spellbinder used to control the Rangers: What if that is how we end up with Talon Ranger.

Going back to Green with Evil, Sledge uses the Amulet Vault to take over the mind of someone strong enough he thinks can defeat the Rangers. Giving them the single Energem he's ever found. The one that alerted him to their existence in the first place.

I was thinking it had to do with Pteragordon's "Evil Mode."

I think they might go that route too.

Because Zordon forbid they schedule these things in a meaningful way...

However, adding on info from the pic below (after seeing lablu6uy on RangerCrew point out the date for episode 9), it seems indicates that Episode 8 airs this Saturday (April 4), April 11 is episode 1, April 18 is episode 8 and April 25 is episode 9. It could also mean that schedule just hasn't been updated yet
