I'm inclined to agree. They used the "King Brachion attacks" from Zyuranger in much the same way, but Titanus was deemed a mere test. If one follows the "Zord Programming" route, Titanus was likely "instructed" to avoid directly fatal attacks.

I actually think this is the best way to go about Star Ninger. Whatever angle they take for the rangers, have a new guy from Texas show up in boots, a big cowboy hat, and his pappy's sherif badge and be the gold ranger. It is too easy. Could also lend itself to some funny one-liners that most of the audience will enjoy (even if they don't understand them).

And no more Tommy. There are no more stories that need to be told about him. If you want to link it to a past season, then link it to Ninja Storm in some way.

I personally think JDF is a great person, father, and he's great to fans of all ages. The dude nearly passed out because he hadn't eaten all day because he was signing autographs. They eventually had to close his line down so they guy could eat.

I'm actually fine with Boom Studios after it was confirmed that they will be the ones to publish the Power Rangers Comicbook series, but I am also hoping that they will separate them as one universe per Era of Power Rangers. Example: Rangerverse 1 with Mighty Morphin, Legendary Squadron, Alien Rangers, Zeo, Turbo, In Space, Lost Galaxy, Lightspeed Rescue, Time Force and Wild Force. Rangerverse 2 with Ninja Storm, Dino Thunder, SPD, Mystic Force, Operation Overdrive, Jungle Fury and RPM. Rangerverse 3 with Samurai, Megaforce, Super Megaforce renamed Captain Force, . Legendary Lightning, Legendary Prizum, Legendary Blitz, Legendary Supersonic, Legendary Battalion, Dino Charge, Ninja Charge and whenever after that. Rangerverse 4 with whatever comes after the 2nd Saban Era and Rangerverse Prime with all of the other Super Sentai who were never turned into Power Rangers nor new Power Ranger Power Set's; Rangerverse Prime is also known as The Sentaiverse and Ranger Prime.

I feel the need to chime in. While I would love to tell you, in explicit detail, what I think about JDF. I'd rather we all take a moment and remember what this thread was originally created for. For people to ask questions about Power Rangers that weren't enough to need an entire thread by themselves. Like what was the name of that pig monster in the spartan hat from MMPR season one? Things like that. I'd really rather this thread not get taken over by pages of JDF debate. So, moving on?

Why would they rename Super Megaforce to Captain Force? And I don't think they will have a Sentaiverse when talking about Power Rangers. And the legacy of Power Rangers is that they are all in the same world, so the different universes seems kinda wonky as well.

I hope they use the comics to expand stories, better develop characters, and to have fun with an established universe.

Because Captain Force makes more since and also helps explain the pirate theme. Also, I only suggested alternate universes due to the fact that 1 Disney tried to treat the first ten seasons as not canon ( or cannon ) to their seven seasons and 2 Saban doesn't really care for the Disney season's and wants very little or nothing at all to do with them and the Power Rangers from those seasons; which seemed obvious in Clash of The Red Rangers and The Legendary Battle.

I do agree that Saban Brands has been less than cordial to the Disney seasons, but SPD was used more than any other team in Super Megaforce. The CotRR thing was because of a strike, not to any animosity from SB. Dino Thunder celebrated the legacy of Power Rangers, SPD used the Time Force suit which makes it appear to be cannon with the other seasons, and Ninja Storm mentioned in the first episode how Power Rangers were real, so I don't agree with you Disney treating the first ten seasons as not cannon.

And renaming the second half of a season makes no sense. They were the same team except for Orion and the suits were a power up from the Megaforce suits (they called it "Super Mega Mode"). And it is also not going to happen from a branding standpoint, so it is a moot point as previously stated.

I have no idea if Haim Saban dislikes the Disney seasons (no reason to think he wouldn't like them), but Saban Brands (I guess JT at the time) tried to ignore them by not inviting any Disney era actors back for the legendary battle

Meh I think most people are making mountains out of mole hills honestly. Just because none of the Disney Era Actors are invited back doesn't mean Saban doesn't like them or want anything to do with them I was most likely just fan service for older generations of fans

The Disney thing is less than simplistic. Some people (from Original Saban AND Disney Eras) were invited, some were not, some declined or outright refused, some were ignored, some were invited only to have the invitation rescinded, and others could not for various reasons. Also, J.F. Red was one out of so, so, many who would have been good for it. There is talk that Saban (or some of his people) don't have love for the Disney Era. Tzachor might have been one, but I cannot say with any genuine assurance. The closest thing any of the rest got out of it was voice-acting. Mystic Force Chip did some post-M.F. work including, but not limited to, Super Megaforce Skatana (in the very episode the Mystic Dragon appeared).

But guys, pretty much everyone got invited, multiple disney actors, not just Saban-era actors got invited. Due to multiple reasons, we got who we got. Jonathan Tzachor did make a comment about the Disney seasons, I do not know Haim Sabans personal opinion of it. Nor do I think it matters.

If Saban and Nickelodeon could not find a way to put the other ranger Form's from Maskman, Flashman & Fiveman in into any episode of Super Megaforce, why couldn't he have just edit them out? Why couldn't he either remove the footage of Lightning Mode Yellow and Prizum Mode Pink or digitally replace them with Jungle Fury Yellow and Zeo Red female version? Prizum Mode Green could've been replaced with Mystic Force Green with those Mystic Force Fighters/Boxing Gloves of his, so what about that? Finally, if Saban was able to replace Vul Eagle with Mighty Morphin Red, why couldn't he have replaced Lightning Mode Blue with Jungle Fury Blue, Supersonic Mode Yellow with Wild Force Yellow and Prizum Mode Green female version with Mystic Force Pink? He also could've edited out the Prizum Mode weapons and replaced them with the Mystic Boxing Gloves, but he didn't because why? Reasons, unexplained and complicated reasons. The Legendary Squadron and Blitz Modes can stay because they are complete teams, but these other guys? If this show is ever lucky enough to come on Blue Ray, Shout Factory, Saban and Nickelodeon better make these necessary edits because incomplete power set's/team's is just plain dumb.

The smartest thing to do at this point, given the mistakes, is to find a way to incorporate them into P.R. It is sad that they had to be shoe-horned in like this, but we can't turn back the clock. If you did edit them out, it will only confuse attentive children as to why it looks different from what they remember. The flaw in the matter for children is where these powers came from and why there are no figures of them to collect. Editing episodes wasn't favored heavily when Disney did MMPR 2010 and doing it now would only make a bad situation worse. Next, the DVDs and the Netflix thing are not edited and Shout Factory isn't even the one doing the more modern and recent Megaforce/Super Megaforce DVDs.

Theoretical Idea: Take Changeman, Flashman, Maskman, Fiveman, and Dairanger and turn them into legitimate teams with their own backstories and explain all of it in a P.R. anthology series.

All of this is awesome hell maybe explain that the White Rangers powers were based on the Dairanger team
