Yes, but the "S.H. Monsterarts Articulation series" is a project by a fan, the one who’s called mikallica on this forum, and he was approached by Tamashii and his videos got supported by them.

It is his project still, so it's only official in a sense that it is the official site for his project which is featured by Tamashii. Yes he does get some info from them on what’s to come apparently, but those are his teasers and none of those have anything to do with his monster lineup.

That’s the problem though: This site exists for years now. This list got made when S.H. MonsterArts was actually a thing. Nowadays the line is on bare life support. They barely even release new molds anymore. So no, a list a fan made years ago is not promising and is not giving me hope for more Showa monsters to be released.

An actual announcement for the Showa Mechagodzilla would do that though… come on Tamashii, make it so!

The Showa version is the best and should have been released first, no questions about that. I'm not a big MonsterArts buyer but that's a must-have for me.

That said, the concept one here is extremely cool and far better than the lame Heisei version we did get (and in my opinion, better than Kiryu too), so I kinda want. I doubt it transforms, but if it does I may seriously consider it.

It's much better than the Mechagodzilla II we ended up getting, that's for sure, but I think I still prefer Kiryu. And the original Mechagodzilla of course.

Damn, that's awesome! Yeah no way the toy is pulling that one off, but man, that's so much better than the Heisei Mechagodzilla we ended up with.

Mothra is apparently painted in more vibrant colors, and what they want to achieve is the look in the movie when she flies at night and is illuminated by the city lights.

The Larva is painted glossy which is supposed to make it look wet because it swam to Japan.

And if you think that sounds like they pulled some shit out of their butts to sell an old figure again, that's most likely because it is the case here.

They could have at least put Mothra in Showa colors...

Is it both Mothras in one set or two separate releases? If it's the former I guess that's one cool thing about it for anyone who hadn't picked them up beforehand.

The text not only states that this figure will be featured in the magazines releasing at the end of April (which probably means that’s when they announce the release date) but also that there’s a gimmick with this figure.

Considering this thing is apparently expensive as fuck (17500 Yen) it might actually transform in some way.

The Tamashii pick-up notice for September reveals not only the Tamashii Mix Poster Mechagodzilla as a retail release in that month but also a Poster repaint of the 90's Godzilla which will be released in September as well:

I am sooo pumped for the Poster MG. Finally a new sculpt for one. And it invokes the 90's to a T. I love it. Big and bolky too. Being a Chogokin it is going to a sturdy beast.

After Shin I jumped the line for a reason. This is one of them. It's getting to SRC Mazinger levels now.

Mecha Godzilla is gorgeous but I just can't justify that price :(

That's pretty much my stance on the matter as well.

It looks fantastic but is ultimately too pricey for a design which originated from a poster.

I remember one of the original script had the idea of a team base MechaGodzilla being control similar to most Super Robot Mecha Anime & Manga.

Pretty much. I can't say I would've bought it for sure but with retailer discounts, I would at least put a pre-order in and then see how things are going in that month financial-wise.

It's still an interesting piece though, I look forward to seeing some video reviews.

With NY chances aren't too bad since they undervalue the contents of a package, and if your customs people have a good day they might not want to see the actuall bill.

Yeah you should be fine. I've never once ended up with a customs fee from Nippon Yasan due to them undervaluing packages, and I've bought Masterpiece Transformers from them.

Not surprised, and even though it is another repaint set I like it. Always loved Battra's design in both forms. If I had a bit more money to spend I would probably get this.

And at least the line is still kicking... no matter how many repaints they pump out, it keeps me hoping that we'll see new molds being released eventually, starting with the classic Mechagodzilla.

Ughhh. Kinda want this as Battra is one of my favourite kaiju and I didn't pick up either version before.

Hopefully the legs on adult Battra aren't floppy and prone to falling out right out of the box like the first release. Yeah it's correctable with a bit of nail polish, but still annoying.

I like the idea of adding effect pieces for this and the Mothra two-pack (being redecos that barely differ from the originals would be kind of boring, so there's at least some incentive to bother with these), but it's annoying for first adopters who don't want to buy these all over again just for some extra parts. I wouldn't mind a separate effects set that throws these in and the spaceship from Poster Ghidorah.
