Goranger 28 is out at PMLG, finally...

With the news of Shout Factory releasing Zyuranger in the near future and GUIS taking their subtitles down in support of it, Zyuranger subs will no longer be shared on this thread. Please support the official release and do not share links to the episodes on the boards, even if TV-Nihon feel the need to continue subbing it.

Haha. The only reason we've been releasing as consistently as we have been for Aba is because we waited until we were about 3/5ths into the show (translation-wise) before we started to put out releases, so we had a really nice buffer for those times when staff members are busy. Speaking of, the translation is nearly done. Just need to work on 2 more episodes.

I can just say this now... I just found out for some time ago that you guys kind of resonsible for making yes pretty cure gogo available for us non-japanese by the name dreamingroses together with doremi who have their translator busy with med-school for studying to be an MD, and then you guys came and save the day. It really made me happy that time although "go go 5" was not my favourite pretty cureXD

Nemet has finished his clean up of JPN's Battle Fever J subs today, so if you can't wait for Megabeast Empire's subs to check this show out and can't stand the awful quality of the JPN rips, be sure to grab these and the Bunnyhat raws!

I've actually hardsubbed his entire project, so it's already all provided for you in both .MKV and .MP4 formats, so that they're all right there instead of having to grab the scripts and raws separately. :B

But, most importantly, congrats to Nemet! Yay!

Yay I can't wait for my rewatch of Battle Fever J with good video quality and subs, I'm drooling over just thinking about it.

I don't even understand how anyone could or would have wanted to sub a show with that ****** of video quality. Were they too lazy to just go and download DVD rips?

The subs were hardcoded into the rips. They aren't new and most likely predated the show even being on DVD.

The originals were ripped from VHS recordings of the original Hawaiian airing of Battle Fever J. So... yeah.

I actually thought they were BetaMax recordings. Also yes they are horrible I watched the entire run of those.

It was the early 80s in Hawaii. They were subtitled at broadcast quality then, but by the time the information age rolled around the magnetic tapes had decayed somewhat.

Thankfully, not an issue any more. I'm the last person who ever needed to watch those.
