Really? General consensus from what I've seen seems to be that the trailer isn't half bad :lol
Anyway, I'm still pumped for season 4, even if AliTwi is a thing. |
Still got to finish season one... that bad?

I just watched the Equestria Girls trailer, and I don't understand or like anything that happened. I don't know if I care anymore.

Trailer wasn't bad, actually better than I thought it would be. True, I am still wondering why on Earth they felt the need to do such a movie, but like Matrix said regarding AliTwi, the decisions have been made so I'll just go along with the flow. It's not an offensively bad decision anyway.

Since they're keeping them separate, I'm not exactly angry over it.
However, I am pissed because I'm blaming this movie for why Season 4 isn't starting until Defuckingcember. >:I |

I pretty much decided to not watch season 4 at all. Not for AliTwi but because i don't trust the writers with writing something that doesn't seem like an obvious cash in.

I'm pumped for it, personally. |
SPOILERS ESPECIALLY FOR YOU GUNCANNON109.

Besides, we can't fault the writers, everything was the upper-ups' doing. I liked what a commenter on Equestria Daily said: "It reminds me of when Bruce Timm was talking about how execs wanted him to make Batman more accessible to pre-teens/early teens. It started with adding Robin, but they just wanted "Teenage Batman." That resulted in Batman Beyond (and Static Shock). Pushing for teenage superheroes led to "Teen Titans" (and later "Young Justice"). No matter how pandery the network wanted to make the show, a true artist can still make it great. That doesn't necessarily go for this particular movie or brand, but I can't help but think of said example." True story, Batman Beyond took a preposterous idea and made one of the coolest additions to the Batman mythos recently. |
Don't you just love executive meddling?
Makes every show so much better. |

Channeling my inner Nossan. Anyway, it seems a lot of my brony friends are going through a crash course over what "Ruined Forever" is, even if they don't themselves think Equestria Girls is all that bad. |
I was never really bothered by Alicorn-Twilight. I always thought it was pointless. Equestria Girls still bothers me from an aesthetic perspective (I'd be concerned if a person's skin were blue/purple), but it seems harmless.

EG is meh. I'll watch it, eventually. Since it's merely a spinoff, it doesn't bother me. |

Yeah... Spin-offs ain't always good... |

I'm already terrified of it. I don't need you running around comparing it to Masked Ri-Der. |

But nah. I really don't remember what I was gonna say :lol |
Oh my, I just realized this.
Equestria Girls is what happens when a rainbow pukes on a Canadian Animated High-schooler Comedy Series! Seriously! Run 6Teen's cast through Microsoft Paint and tell me I'm wrong! |

Is there a way to read the comics without buying individual issues? I hate buying issues, I very much prefer tradepaperbacks. The best option is, of course, DRM-free e-comics, but that's wishful thinking.

Pinkie Pie promo card http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/attach...1&d=1368506027 Rarity Plushie http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/attach...1&d=1368506027 Argh...she looks kinda not so good in this picture. Trust me, she looks way better in person. The Rarity isn't for me by the way, I got it for a friend of mine who's graduating this month, so yeah. This is his graduation gift. |
