Serious talk here. These are feelings a lot of people have. Social situations, friendships, these are things that are difficult but rewarding. Our sense of self-worth can get wrapped up in what others think of us, what we want in relationships, all of that. It can be draining to process those feelings, to analyze them and deal with them in productive ways.

Honestly? Talking about it helps. This, the sharing it with others, that's brave and valuable. We're a community dedicated to talking about Japanese superhero series designed to sell toys to children, but we're still a community. I sincerely want all of you to be happy and healthy. If you feel like you've got stuff that's bothering you, this thread can be a good start. The things our brains do that can be detrimental, counter-productive, maybe it'll help to know that there are folks out there in the world rooting for you. I'm definitely one of them.

Right now, we're maybe all feeling a little isolated. We're all needing that boost of camaraderie more than we think. It's normal to doubt yourself, to feel less than. But it's necessary to know that you're okay, that things will be okay. People here want that for you. I want that for you. If things don't feel so great over the next few weeks, please drop in here to the TokuNation boards and talk it out.

Thanks. I mean I'm better now that I am grown and out of that situation. My only real issues now is finding a full time job and a relationship, and staying healthy. Right now my heart goes out to all those affected by the virus and the economic impact. I right now am feeling a bit of a pinch on the economic side. My theatre job has shut production down for the foreseeable future. My main job might be closed next week, possibly the week after too. I hope everyone on here is doing ok and can be as open as me and some others.

My work has slowed down as well. I still have work to do, but once it's done then I go home. We're not taking any new orders in. I am expected to have my work done by Thursday or Friday and then go on indefinite sick leave.

Who is still working at their jobs? I still have to go to my shitty job which is okay I guess. I still need to get paid somehow.

I work at the post office so we can't exactly stop working, on the bright side I'm actually getting paid due to the pandemic meaning I'm risking my health

The state has essentially closed down bars and restaurants for dine-in purposes, only allowing take-out and delivery. But as far as I know, I'm still working tomorrow. I'm the restaurants only waiter, busser, and dishwasher. They can still use me to take orders deal with customers and clean dishes.

My job has us always gloves, a mask, and goggles long before the virus happen. I work in a warehouse that makes car parts and you can easily get sick by inhaling smoke or dust.

The company that I work for makes stuff for cars and trucks. I'm just the guy who cleans up garbage or puts stuff out in the delivery truck.

Yeah, no. Anime is very popular in the western world. Dunno why, but maybe it's because some cartoons that aired in the 80's and 90's were anime (Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh, One Piece, Dragonball Z, etc.), cementing anime in the heart of the western world.

Similarly, there are people in Japan (and other Eastern cultures for that matter) that are nuts about the stuff that Westerners produce. Just take a look at all those Japanese Disney commercials.

Good thing I have a lot of backlogs of games and TV shows.
