I KEEP TELLING YOU THAT ONCE MORE SHOMA MOST LIKELY MADE THE RGS IN THE TV SERIES NOT THE FILM CAUSE THE FILM WOULD BE WHEN HES ALREADY A KAMEN RIDER WHILE IN THE TV SERIES HIS FIRST TRUE TRANSFORMION is in the series Like when ghost first appear HE WAS ALREADY GHOST OR WHEN GEATS FIRST APPEAR HE WAS ALREADY GEATS OR HOW REVI AND VICE WERE ALREADY RIDERS BEFORE APPEARING IN SABER ITS NOT ROCKET SCIENCE |
Hell your mindset and how you writing makes it seem
Well ghost first transform in drive ok BUT WHY DOESNT HE REMEMBER TRANSFORMING IN THE FIRST EP OF GHOST OH YEAH CAUSE IT DIDNT HAPPEN YET |

Being a 2005 birth, I never felt the experience of having a main rider's actor being younger than me. Even those that are born in 2000s are usually born in 2001, 2002 for example, still older than me. But then we got Shouma's actor being born in 2005 March (mines is in 2005 January) so I now get to feel having a main rider younger than me, damn...

Since we're on the subject, for me it's Masaki Suda.

So the bike is going to be totally CG?

the press conference for Gavv will be held 8/11.

Curious if gochizo only come from shouma making them or if they also just exist generally? Maybe thr kaijin can make them as well? I wonder where Valen will get gochizo from specifically tho... The vibe in the trailer looks great all around imo, I'm feeling pretty hyped ngl |
I told you guys it was going to premiere on September 1st.

Can't wait for a vilain general to be diamond themed and called Dia-Beats
|
The teaser is cool and confirms the rumor that Shoma is an alien, as he tries to eat the towel. Regarding Valen, I don’t see either Chokodon or the previously often mentioned Galen in him. For him, it's more like Kamen Rider Drive with a chocolate shift car. Overall, I feel like the designers put all their creativity into the Chip Samurai and the Marshmallow Wrestler, and didn't have enough imagination for the basic rider shapes.

Valen's name also contains a ヴ like Gavv, making him easier to distinguish from Balon, a fellow food-themed red Rider. I wonder if this will be consistent for Riders in this show, like how ド was consistent for Alchemy Riders. |

Tbh, while I think Valen looks really cool I'm honestly not vibing with his changer like at all?
Maybe this is a me problem, but I feel like I just do not get what they're going for with it? Like I get that it is gun and chocolate themed.... but like.... the chocolate detailing is barely there at all, and honestly outside of the handle it barely even it looks like a gun? It just kind of looks like randomly shaped plastic to me, and so much of it is just unpainted/uncoloured? It just kind or scans as noise to me I'm genuinely curious is there something specific it's supposed to resemble? It has a lot of shaping that feels so intentional, but just doesn't resembled anything to me? I don't hate it, but i just kind of feel nothing about it... So, I feel like I really just don't get it lol Attachment 63813 |

Would be cool to see the changer get some aesthetic changes for different upgrades |

If this is actually the case in the show that would increase my appreciation of it's design for sure |
So Valen to me is so good looking and i heard and saw a picture that one of Valen's future forms will be a chocolate donut

I'm already loving the Kaijin design and the general vibe. Valen's design...I think I'll need to see it in action more. I don't think it works as well as Gavv's chocolate form. |

Just like Gavv's belt, except seen from the side instead of the front and long and narrow instead of wide. The "chocolate bar" details pull double-duty as teeth, and the lighter blue patch on top is an eye (which gives me a hunch that the gun will be a separate "living" creature, unlike Gavv's belt which is part of him). Looking closely, you'll see a seam between the top and bottom rows of chocolate "teeth" in the front, and round hinges where the gray barrels connect to the blue handle, so it seems like the gun will open up to "eat" Gochizous! The weird sticking-out bit on the front of the top barrel/jaw is probably a handle to open it up with. |

Loving Valen's design. Color scheme is nice too. |
Looking forward to how many riders in this season! All these snacks I crave!
Gavv: Gummies, milk chocolates, chips, marshmallows & lollipops! Valen: White chocolate |

KR Valen doesn't look as good as I expected. Like the So-Do action figure, he doesn't have a belt Driver, only a generic-looking chocolate-shaped belt buckle. It seems like his weapon (Valen Buster?) is his Driver, similar to KR Diend or several Riders in KR Saber who had hybrid weapon/transformation devices. And, since several rumors mentioned KR Gavv's upgrade form will use a cake-based form, could it mean that advanced and final forms will be powered by bigger/heavier foods like bread, burger, hot dog, etc, or even proper meals like salads, pasta, ramen/noodle, curry rice, etc? Snack/candy/cookie-based forms are for basic forms, bread/cake-based forms are for upgrade/intermediate forms, and heavy meal-based forms are for final forms and or berserker forms.
I have a feeling that the heroine could be portrayed by an actor that has previously appeared in a side content in this franchise. My personal guess is that the actor could be Rumika Fukuda who portrayed Rena Kurumi/KR Muez in KR Faiz 20th: Paradise Regained several months ago. Kanon Matsuzawa who portrayed Kei/Kuina Orphnoch in KR Faiz 20th: Paradise Regained appeared in KR Gotchard episodes 30-31 as Seina Tsukumo (aka Neon Kuruma's twin sister, haha), so this could be possible. To me, Rumika Fukuda looks like the ideal KR heroine. She checks all the criteria for a KR heroine's actor, so promoting her from a side content to a main series should be the right move by Toei, and also by her agency to advance her career. Tamashii Nation will hold a promotional event for the new SHF SS KR Gaim line on September 4th. The event being held close to KR Gavv's premiere, combined with Toei's obvious secretive marketing strategy to build up the hype around the announcement of the writer(s) makes me more and more suspect that these are deliberate moves by Toei/Bandai to signal Gen Urobuchi's return to this franchise. Well, maybe my speculation about Urobuchi's return is just the result of my imagination running too wild. At least, I can only hope. Tonight I'll be sleeping with all fingers on my hands and feet crossed, haha. https://i.imgur.com/DoAFDVt.jpg Oh, and here's the link to KR Gavv's press conference event from TV Asahi's Super Hero Time's Youtube channel. 10 AM JST. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ZPZZD05XoU |

Since the press conference is region-locked, anyone with access please tell us what Gavv's story will be about and everything else relevant that just got released?

"The creeping threat of Granute, monsters from another world. Little do humans know that they've secretly invaded the human world. Little do humans know that that they are attacking and kidnapping humans. A young man is stepping up to protect humans! Shouma is a young man who loves to eat. By eating sweets, Shoma creates a being called "Gochizou" that becomes his retainers, and gains the power to transform into Kamen Rider. The story of Shouma who fights to protect people's happiness from Granute, begins now!" Villains: "グラニュート界の大手お菓子会社・ストマック社。その経営を務めるのはストマック5兄弟です。" "Stomach is a major confectionery company in the Granute confectionery world. It is run by the five Stomach siblings." The Gochizous are indeed Shouma's minions that he creates. With 3 protagonists, 5(!) siblings as starter villains, and transformation trinkets that act like actual creatures, Gavv feels more and more like Gotchard v2.0. And the writer is indeed Junko Komura. Why did Toei bother to build up hype when it's finally revealed that the writer is an average one? This gotta be one of the weirdest (if not the weirdest) marketing tactic I've seen. Sooooooo underwhelming. Quote:

So the big baddie is Willy Wonka gone full heel, and I love both Gavv and Valen's design. Here's hoping we get a wagashi form or rider by next January. Theme is decent, very Persona-esque. Show overall feels like a mix of Amazon, W, and Build.
|
I get the vibe this show is going to be much darker than it's initial gimmick implies.
Also seems like there's a normal purple bike on top of the big CG one. The Kaijin and the generals look great. Gaav and Valen look like they've got a nice guy/tough guy dynamic. |
