There's some rumors about my workplace that they are thinking about ending telework. I like my job but I am absolutely going job hunting if they try and drag me back to that god awful office on a regular basis again. I'm extremely, extremely introverted and hated it with a passion, and the work I do absolutely does not require me on the premises 99.9% of the time. I hope it was just a rumor though, I'd hate to think the higher-ups are that stupid as to piss off almost the entire tech department!

So it actually, finally happened. The upcoming RWBY anime has my attention, due in no small part to the names attached.

Watching all 140 episodes of Futurama on DVD before Hulu starts Futurama X (Series VIII Part 1).
Also switching 007 to NTSC format DVDs. I recently saw No Time To Die on DVD. |
Today I have entered the second decade since my birth.
|
Enjoyable second decade to you!

Happy Birthday. |
Missing the 7th and final Roger Moore 007 DVD. My run resumes with Thunderball. May rewatch No Time To Die when I get to Daniel Craig.
I'm curious to see what Jumanji The Curse Returns does with Welcome To The Jungle and The Next Level. It'll be funny playing the original board with Ruby Roundhouse. |

BTW when you said 'dislocate' do you mean a muscle cramp or actual joint-from-socket dislocation? |
As my birthday gift to myself, I've started watching the real reason why I binged all five seasons of Symphogear in the first place: Puella Magi Madoka Magica.
I have absolutely no idea what to expect (all I know is that it gets dark because Urobutcher) so I'm going in blind. Wish me luck. |

Pokemon Gen IX (Scarlett And Violet) coming out soon.

Thanks for all the birthday messages guys.
Up to episode 8 of Madoka now. I'm scared but I can't look away. I don't know if I'll be able to sleep tonight, this series is one of the most depressing things I've watched. |
Okay, I've just finished Puella Magi Madoka Magica.
Well. That was a wild ride. If Symphogear made me feel new highs, then Madoka went the opposite direction and made me feel really depressed. At least the ending was bittersweet? Kind of? The only real tragedy for me I got out of this experience was that Madoka retroactively kind of lessened my enjoyment of Kamen Rider Gaim. Like, don't get me wrong I still think it was an amazing show but now I can't help but wonder how much plot Urobuchi recycled from Madoka and toned down for kids. |

Also, if you want to wash that, there's Magia Record. One could argue Magia Record is just another one of Homura's timelines, but from what I've seen, I kinda keep it as its own entity. Separate from the main show. The OG cast are a little too different. Edit: do hope you won't fall the same pitfalls as I did. Not really an egregious one, but the size of the cast made it hard for me to recognize or remember anyone but the main two. Not even recognizing characters by color worked, since, for example, there are two other magical girls beyond Mami that are yellow. :lol https://i.pinimg.com/originals/5f/8d...405455b9ce.jpg |

That said, Madoka has much that it holds over Gaim's Orange. Like the Witches Dimensions and designs go without saying, since animation can easily surpass lie-action, much less Tokusatsu. So Madoka has more visual flair and tone (no need to remind me that this was Evangelion in a Magical Girl dress), but in the end, I have to say both shows are still good (also, not sure if this is true, but supposedly Urobuchi originally planned Madoka's plot for Rider but turned it into a Magical Girl first), and either one would appeal anyone interested in either Anime or Tokusatsu. |

I really should get around to watching the Madoka movies. And Symphogear!
