By the way, wouldn't it be awesome if he came with the Han Solo frozen in carbonite that was on display as well? It was mostly hollow from the back so it can’t be an overly expensive piece to produce, and Darth Vader included a giant stage with his first run; why not give away the frozen Han in a similar fashion?

Yeah nothing at all looks new to me. Charizard at least had new effects. In fact, Mewtwo will have less by not having Mew with it.

Still like hearing this news though. Long overdue and still worth a pick up IMO. Gives slight hope something else could happen now... Or they're just capitalizing on the Mewtwo movie remake coming this year.

To be fair, the full accessory count isn't revealed just yet so Mew could be in there. Would be cool if they do that IMO.

I think sacrificing articulation for a more seamless look would be better.

I only know this for sure because I just packed it the other day while prepping to move, but Mew was a first run bonus. Big sticker on the box saying it. So I wouldn't be surprised if it's not included, but yes it would be nice.

And yeah the tail is not the greatest anymore. I was just reminded of how easily mine fell apart and... Ugh. Today I would sacrifice the expressiveness for something more solid like 21's or Frieza's.

I remember that, I was looking to buy a D-Arts Mewtwo like 5 years ago and the one with Mew was ridiculously expensive, found out then it was a bonus too.

But I wanted a reissue for quite a while so I gladly take this even if it isn’t much altered form the original and lacks the Mew figurine.

I am kind of surprised that Bandai gave her an actual bicep swivel since it seemed like they were moving towards integrating it into the shoulder for all their figures. I also feel like they should have used a dark metallic blue for the suit instead of the matte colour they used but other than that the figure itself looks great! I can't wait to get it in hand except I have to wait an extra few months for the Bluefin release.

I got lucky, managed to find a local seller selling the Sony macro lens for half the price of retail so I jumped on it since it's really not that expensive of a lense in the first place. Haha. Your patience will be rewarded.

I'm really amazed by how far face scanning technology has improved with S.H.Figuarts over a short period of time.
