I also purchased the complete Turn A Gundam DVDs last month.

Fair warning, the RG Zeta is... not very good. The frame gets super loose as soon as you start moving stuff. I'd recommed picking up the MG 2.0 at some point if you haven't already.

so does the MG Unicorn that they're selling nowadays have any major flaws?

and i mean like, figure breaking problems, not like "it has a loose waist joint" problems.

I also wanna know if theres an MG Stargazer.

The MG Unicorn is not good in any form, sadly. It's not horrible, but it's certainly disappointing. Former has the one you're talking about, so he could give you some firsthand info on it. And sadly there is no MG Stargazer.

I think there are multiple MG Unicorns if I'm not mistaken. Like 2.0s and such.

I heard the ankles on all of the Unicorns are shit though so I guess not? I don't own one but there are some video reviews out there that should guide you better.

I know FormerTitanium has the Ver. Ka, so you could always ask him about that.

Former has the ova ver, which is the "2.0" that powerman was thinking of. All they really changed was the knees, which were only mildly improved. 95% of the kit is unchanged.

Re-watching BF Try and....

Eyup. It's not horrible, but it still isn't very good.

what hurts it is the oversaturation of characters and no sub-plot.

It's great up tiil after they defeat Team G-Master.

Then it starts introducing and removing characters way too damn quickly and Sekai starts winning way too easily and Yuuma and Hoshino become more and more irrelevant.

You know, it never really occurred to me while watching BF Try but I would really like to know what Reji was up to after he went back home especially since Aila followed him.

In terms of gunpla, I'm currently working on the MG Sazabi Ver.Ka and so far its good. Trying to add some subtle silver accents here and there for added details but I really dislike dealing with nubs on red plastic. lol

I agree. I think having the three team formula with only 25 episodes ended up bitting them in the long run. The characters I find aren't as memorable as the first series, though I appreciate Try for introducing a lot more original Gunpla.

Try did a lot of good things in small bursts, but there's so many characters that deserved more time and development.

One of the biggest ones is the female meijin. She's literally just a carbon copy of Kawaguchi and it just makes almost every scene I see her in a disappointment.

The new HG Freedom Gundam looks absolutely fantastic.

My biggest problem with that kit is the stickers. There are a lot of blue and red stripes that look like a nightmare to align.

So this newspaper is doing a special Gundam Newspaper as a tie in to the Art of Gundam exhibit that's going on in Japan right now. Sounds pretty cool.

That design disgusts me. Just... those legs. They're HORRIBLE. It's like Liefeld went and designed a Gundam.

Can't be Liefeld, it does have feet after all. Maxter really got the short end of the stick with theses "upgrades". Double Dragon really doesn't look that bad though.

Yeah, the others are fine. Versailles in particular looks great. But Maxter... I can't imagine the hell the maintenance team has to put up with, considering all the strain the legs would be under considering how top-heavy it is and how narrow the legs are.
