The song at the end that played during Build Burning fight was I believe the opening song since most animes play their opening songs at the end credits on the first episodes. Could be wrong, but we'll have to wait and see.

I'm pretty sure it was, as it was the same artist who did the two openings for the original season.

Build Fighters episode 1

It was good. Sei's voice annoys the shit out of me though. And Sazaki was a bitch.

Master~force! In retrospect it is not the best, but boy do I love how they all transform in this show.

Sazaki's the one with the Gyan, right? I hated him, too. He's kinda odd, things happen that make it seem like he was going to be a significant character, but the writers realized how much of an a-hole he was and just pushed him to the side.

I think being annoying was his whole role, never seemed like a character that would go very far.

The fact that he made it into the actual tournament made me think that he was going to be a permanent annoying side character, but then he just kinda disappears for the rest of the show. You see him a couple of times, but he doesn't do a whole heck of a lot. It seems odd that the writers would go through the trouble of having him enter the tournament just to have him do nothing, as not making the qualifiers would've been a great reason for him to not be a part of the show anymore.

Build Fighters episode 2

Yuuki and his Zaku Amazing get all the girls wet. I wish I had that capability with a Gundam model.

It was really cool to see that Gold Sumo fight the Build Strike.

Episode 3

I'm not a big fan of that Fenice Wing. And I'm not a fan of Build Strike's new weapons because it looked really bland....

Also, is it just me, or I am I kinda annoyed by this show being more anime like with the Gundam battles? I don't like the use of speed lines in the show, because Gundam doesn't normally do that. So to see it used so many times in 1 episode annoys me a bit.

But it's written by the guys who did 00 so for all I know it could be my favorite Gundam show ever.

Just checked out the first episode of Psycho-Pass 2. Despite shifting lead writers and animation studio I think it's looking just as good as ever, and Akane's continual growth as a protagonist is excellent.

Oh so Gen Urobutchi isn writing psycho pass season 2? Or is it another Aldnoah Zero where he writes a few and passes it along to another writer?

From what I gather, he's a script supervisor and Tow Ubukata (who did Mardock Scramble and GiTS: Arise) is head writer.

Ehhhh... I was not at all blown away by the first episode of Psycho-Pass's second season. Up until the very end it felt like nothing of consequence was happening. It didn't hook me as well as immediately as the first season did.

Build Fighters episode 5

This episode was weird. Gunpla academies? Imaginary battles?

One thing I like is the background music. It's very different from Gundam but it makes the gunpla battles really exciting.

Man episodes 85 & 86 of Fairy Tail were just, WTF?! Faust REALLY has an amusement park in his kingdom in the Edolas Royal City AND apparently the only access to magic that the Earthland Fairy Tail wizards have is these weird ass candies called "X-Balls" *gah sounds like something off an X-Men NSFW thing!! >.<*. Hellsing Ultimate 3 was FILLED with awesome though :lol. Still, the fact that the royal guard & king of Edolas want to kill off the Extalia Kingdom by SACRIFICING EARTHLAND MAGES to give him AND the rest of the Kingdom ONLY unlimited magic, just, I hate Faust more than I did when I saw his introduction.

5 centimeters per second: I'm starting to become a Makoto Shinkai fanboy.

Ever wondered how slowly petals fall? They move at 5 centimeters per second apparently, but their romantic sight does not reflect reality, for life can be a train with unbearable pauses or unforgiving quickness.

During their childhood Takaki and Akari were born to families that constantly moved away, on one of those cities their paths crossed, the kids became best friends quickly, and their eventual separation might have branded their life more than they expected.

The movie is split into three segments, Cherry Blossoms, Cosmonaut, and 5 Centimeters Per Second, each one telling it's own story yet building to the same purpose.

Cherry Blossoms is... well... to put it bluntly... boring, it is intentionally the least interesting part, for it mostly works as set up, it's not bad by any stretch of the imagination, it's just that the struggle feels a little hard to get into, and light compared to the rest of the movie, nonetheless it does pay off on it's own and when joined by the other parts.

Cosmonaut is probably the best stand alone tale, it's great in it's own and downright amazing as part of the package, for it is where everything turns around, and inf act the reaction is amplified if you weren't apying enough attention in the past one and slowly start to see how it all ties together, it tells the story of Sumida , a girl who strggles to confess her love in a tale defiend by the sea and it's bigger counterpart, the sea of our skies.

5 Centimeters Per Second is harder to describe, it's the payoff to the whole movie, so describing it is a spoiler in itself, compared to the other parts is very unconventional, but it ties up everything beautifully, and uses music for an amazing effect.

The animation is beautiful, though I do find that some of the character's expressions felt odd at times, music is great and the production values are all around solid.

This isn't a traditional love sotry, nor is it a tragedy per se, it's realism, it's a reflection of the world we live in and the stories it can tell, and in that sense it's great.

Build Fighters episode 6

The battle between Build Strike and Zaku Amazing was so fucking awesome. While build fighters has really stiff animation during the action, this battle was excellent.

That's easily one of the top three fights in the entire show.

Build Fighters episode 7

The Build Mark II is pretty awesome.

I love the hilarity of the idea that the land sharks are willing to duke out this whole dark and realistic ownership issue with gunpla.

Is it just me, or is Build Fighters the only show I've seen where the girl is the only one actively trying to get the guy she likes?

Funny, isn't it? Reminds me a bit of Custom Robo.

Holy fuck the Sengoku Astray was fucking badass. And Yuuki is doing something with his kit? I know his voice actor also voiced Mr. Bushido in 00 so his kit having a similar mask is a reference?

Lol at that beargguy training montage.

The villain for this episode was a straight up bitch with the worst eyebrows since Dorothy from wing.

That's part of the charm with a series like this and Yu-Gi-Oh. Solving really serious business with something that is designed for fun.

Build Fighters episode 10

Shit face drunk Fellini was awesome.

Much like the Strike line before it, the Star Build Strike doesn't have that much different to it. And for some reason people freak out when that that one girl used funnels but when someone else did no one batted an eye.

Episode 11

The start of the world tournament and I thought that the fights were good in this. I wish more 00 kits showed up though.

Episode 12

That Mega Sized Zaku was something huh? And this Chairman guy knows something about Reiji...

We watched the first two episodes of The Devil is a Part Timer and they were quite hilarious. It isn't the greatest show ever, but it is something different, and that works for me.

Build Fighters episode 13

That baseball game was intense. Can you get those baseball parts with the Star Build Strike?

Episode 14

What the fuck is this president guy's problem? I've never hated a Gundam villain this much since the A-laws.

It was cool to see Kyrios though. For all of 2 seconds.
