I'm waiting for G,Zeta and Build Fighters to get announced.

Build Fighters is going to take some time since they have to go through the very beginning.

Luckily Unicorn and Origins are dubbed so they wont have to worry about that.

I want the Zeta movies in HD. When I watched the box of them, I had the impression that the DVDs didn't really do the movies justice from a visual standpoint.

So they're saying it's important enough to be one of the first releases, but not enough to get a blu-ray immediately? Nice logic. But then again, they all have jobs doing this stuff, so they know more then I do on sales and priority.

I'm glad Turn A is finally getting a release, it's probably my absolute favorite Gundam series.

I got these Ganbare! SD Gundam figures recently, I really miss the classic cartoony designs of the old SD Gundam stuff, the modern series start to all look the same eventually.

The original series getting a blu-ray release is awesome. I love the original show when it was on Toonami. For a dub that came out 22 years later after it aired in Japan, it was enjoyable.

Actual little story behind this figure. NOAH Pro Wrestler (A japanese wrestling promotion) Naomichi Marufuji will be getting an exclusive Gundam specifically designed for him. It will be called the "Maru Gundam" and be inspired by the outfits he would wear to the ring while competing in NOAH. It will be shown at the "Museum Odaiba 35th anniversary" event in Tokyo.

Pretty much. It was designed just for him. Still a cool piece though and shows how far a paint job can customize a suit.

Now I just need to figure out which decals I want to apply. I didn't realize that it came with waterslide decals and really do not work too well with them. lol. I probably won't apply them all and only choose the bigger ones to use.

That is a must buy. I am so glad I missed out on the DVDs Bandai released before they went bye bye.

I'm going to hold off on Turn A in hopes they bring it out to BD.

What do you get when you combine 13 television scripts into a nearly two hour movie? A very difficult movie to review.

I agree on most of the points, the animation is gorgeous, the beginning and ending battles are lovely and Eternal Wind is amazing.
Nothing changes the fact that it is a show squished into a movie.

It involves a space pirate Crossbone Vanguard, Cecily and Seabook getting proper closure and Zabine riding a motherfrigging Gundam.

Well the difficulty was more in trying to grade it.

If I can find it I'd love to read it and see how the story continues. I'd probably review it as well.

So I'm planning on doing my first ever custom project soon for a gunpla. With this project there is some painting that would have to be done. But having no knowledge of this world I do have some questions.

The main one being could I just use Gundam Markers for the painting? Would it be a good option for a beginner and would it be wise to use it for say the grayish/polycap like plastic for the joints and such? If not and I need actual paint, where do I get such paint? I'm thinking if I'd use real paint I'd want to use oil, so aside from the ventilation do I need to wear a mask or something?

Markers should be fine, and don't paint the polycaps.

Alright then. I didn't necessarily mean the polycaps. I mean like the parts for building the knees, elbows, and fists since they're kinda close to that plastic material that the polycaps have.

Also do I need to top coat the kit since I'd be using markers? And what of matte coating?

Top coating in theory protects the paint from scratching or wearing off, so it's definietly a good idea.

I tend not to paint polycaps since those are gonna be well hidden anyway.

For actual painting, GUndam markers actually aren't the best. You're better off investing in some good quality acrylic paint like Tamiya or Testors.

Use markers. You're not doing a 100% repaint, so markers will be just fine.

Finally finished Sazabi ver.ka! Definitely an awesome kit! Definitely worth the effort though it's a bit finicky to pose dynamically since its so large and bulky.
