I think he was in a couple, but he wasn't exactly a major character. Ranger got a movie (OG) and a small story arc (Shadows of Almia) and Mystery Dungeon got a few anime specials.

Yeah, but Mystery Dungeon's specials are unrelated to the series, where as White Ranger suggests that a talking Pikachu will be added to the main anime.

todd had few after indigo in johoto region in the season after johto journy but before master quste. like i said its nintendo they would add any thing to anime just help sell the game if there stuck on main game content.
