Can't find the source but I've read it's more AR world BS. Producer has said that he's still going with the "Every series is it's own world" stuff (Despite previous Phase 2 Directors going out of their way to connect ATLEAST Phase 2) but Zi-O's world has every show happen on it as well.

That's the same as every Rider fighting in base form rather than their upgrades. You'll most likely still see the original Decade Driver in most crossover appearances of Decade that don't actually feature him as a focus character since it's the one actually used in his show (unless they actually changed the original prop and don't have it anymore, but I doubt that). It's also the same reason you have Black and Black RX appearing separately in most crossovers.


That comment was about the tv show itself, it has nothing to do with the movie. Shirakura hasn't been involved with tv Rider since Decade and sees every series as their own world since he clearly didn't follow the work done by other people afterwards. He even initially said that New World Build was different from the Build in Zi-O since there are no Riders in New World, before stepping back and correcting himself some time later since that contradicts a statement from Build's producer regarding how New World is the world with the other Riders.

And I'm not talking about the connection of Zi-O to the previous shows anyway, I'm talking about tv Zi-O and Zi-O in Heisei Generations Final. It will be really annoying if those two can't match up (Zi-O meeting Build in the beginning of the movie and acting like everything is normal while Build was never restored in the Zi-O tv series). The future changing soon does give me some hope it'll work out though.

Honestly, the showrunner's intent can't really fix 'every series is it's own world' stuff regardless of which direction they want to go in. If they're in the same world, why is nobody paying attention to obvious stuff (global freeze, Helheim attacks), if they're in different worlds most of the crossovers don't work.

I am going to be really bummed if we don't get an Another Owner out of this.

Well Woz will pose, say henshin and then pull the lever on his belt. To which we hear the tones of Rikiya Koyama and/or Yohei Onishi or maybe even a new third guy going: “Future Time! Wow! Era! Future! Kamen Rider Woz! Woz!”

If I'm not mistaken, and I very well could be, didn't the scans show that Woz's Driver had a lever mechanism to it in some fashion?
