Ugh, this show just got really retarded. Gai's the new editor-in-chief, and is sitting RIGHT THERE and Ryuki doesn't just, I dunno, take the card back?

This is so, so dumb. He lost a fucking square of paper and the guy who took it is right there and he doesn't just take it back? Am I watching Yu-Gi-Oh? Can someone tell me when he gets the card back so I can fastforward?

Also, Ren says he can't transform into Ryuki. Uh, bullshit he can't. He was in his blank form after losing the card, and he could transform before he met Dragredder. He just has no special powers.

I just realised something... why are the riders fighting? There's no real explanation for why they fight eachother. This show builds up this grand idea of rider infighting, but neglects to give a solid reason.

See, that's the problem "later" is too late. The premise of your show shouldn't be explained near the end unless it's the big mystery everyone's working to solve, which the fighting isn't. It's trying to be resolved, but no one is really askign why is this happening. Now it's gonna seem like and afterthought. If they can't even explain why ONE rider would fight, I have little faith they can explain why they all are.

Ryuki got his card back, but that episode really hurt the show for me in how contrived and moronic it was. I still don't understand how taking the card works, since the card is part of his Advent deck. The deck and cards are one and change togther when a contract is formed. I say that shouldn't work, but since they never bothered to explain how the decks work... (again, why the hell does no rider series explain the powers?)

I dunno, I'll keep watching, but I'm no longer gung-ho for this series. Which sucks because Raia is really interesting, but he's practically a non-character. There's serious mismanaging of assets here. Gai, this stupid looking stupid character gets the spotlight over the only other non-combative rider. In fact, Raia and Ryuki have barely spoken to eachother, despite the fact that the two should be going nuts for finding another rider who wants to end the fighting.

Man, it's hard to talk about this series without blatantly spoiling it :lol

Aye, just trust us all and stick with it. In the end the only thing that bothered me with the series as a whole was the way the season ended, I get why it ended as it did, but I still hated it. Your issues will work themselves out. Can't really say anything, just watch.

I mean, I'm still watching it, but it's getting kind of... bad. Aside from being an embarrassing attempt at writing a villain, Gai is a TERRIBLE actor. I mean, there's a few really bad actors in this, but this is, like, guest actor on Power Rangers bad. He can't even say "huh?" naturally. So far it's a lot of shuffling because Ren can't walk and Ryuki violently shakes him. (is this just how Japan thinks helping injured people works? By thrashing them and probably hurting them more? I notice this a lot in Kamen Rider, I think they did it to a dog once, too)

The problem with Ryuki is that there's a lot of little things that are bad, but they're easily overshadowed by the good elements so you don't even notice them. But as I stare at the screen with eyes glazing over I notice how bland the music is, how annoying the production values are, how that useless girl is useless and always talks like she bit the inside of her cheek... without the distractions of great characters and a cool plot I'm realising how... not well-made this show is. It's upsetting.

Again, Raia is cool, but... he isn't doing anything. Nobody just punches Gai while he's mugging? Did they just forget they're human beings with the ability to do anything at all outside their costumes?

It does show its age a touch, sure, but the characters more than make up for it, they are driving force behind the series and it is far more about them than it is most anything else. And I dunno, I didn't mind the music in the series, Alive a Life is one of my favorite Kamen Rider intro themes. And the story picks up, believe me.

I don't mind it, it's just bland. There's maybe three tracks that repeat.

Also, the characters are okay, but hardly the driving force. Ryuki is one-track and kind of stupid never taking action on anything he says despite acting so gung-ho, Ren is arrogant and nonsensically "cold" and other tripe shit that made me hate Accel until he let up, the girl is useless as they come, only marginally more interesting than the souless thing from Agito, Raia is far too not-fucking-there, and Gai is shit writing at it's peak.

The only one who's a character I want to follow is Zolda, and he's dissappeared.

I just watched Movie War Ultimatum. Such a fun movie. And the whole premise allowed them to do all kinds of non canon things. It also made me want to a buy a bunch of toys and figured I gave up on before....xD

And I've been watching Faiz also. I've got 5 episodes left along with the movie. It's ridiculous how dramatic that show is. Freaking action soap opera.

You're still fairly early in the series, they will grow on you and they definitely grow over the course of the series.

Ryuki's gotten better... but not by much. Ouja, so far, is just a criminal. Nothing special, just a violent nutcase who says "vexed" because everyone's gotta have a catchphrase. Gai somehow got even worse, specifically pointing out that he has more than one bitch card (I guess his deck is full of all the lamest action cards from Yu-Gi-oh) which just fucking makes no sense. Knight is fighting Gai for no reason. He could've just said no and looked for the girl himself. Afterall it only took Raia, like, two seconds.

Zolda's back, but I think I'm seeing the problem of havign so many Riders. He's now shoved to a bit part like Raia because there's FIVE riders, not countign Ryuki who's out right now. It's getting crowded and the characters are suffering. I totally understand why they decided to shift to form changing to get more suits instead of multiple riders. I wouldn't be mentoning this were it not for the fact that I know there's more to come.

Alright, back from a vacation and back to watching Blade. Episode 15.

Aw, yeah! Tachibana kicking ass. And rejecting Isaka's help. And he seems to have come the farthest in kicking his ass. He even made hm retreat.

What, Isaka can just mind control people by glaring at them? I thought he needed that plant juice or whatever...Anyway looks like that kid can't control the category ace power. It's messed up that they just dumped the failed test subjects in a tunnel though.

Hajime still feelin' major guilt over an enemy of his endangering Amane and her mom. Guess he didn't feel loner-ish enough not to stay with 'em to protect 'em, though. Kotaro's sure taking that...badly.

Speaking of loners, Tachibana's wants Isaka to be his fight as expected. He almost beat him last time so I don't see why not. But what's with the chief being on Isaka's side. I wonder if he's on mind control too.

Haha, and now the bastard's dead. I like how Tachibana reminisced over how much he loved Sayako to completely serene music as he beat the shit out of Isaka.

And wait...Isaka was a peacock? Huh. Figured he was a bird type undead, but a peacock definitely wouldn't be my guess.

Nice to see Isaka's death broke the mind control. Though, I didn't expect EVERYONE in his little group to be just mind controlled humans. Tachibana says he's done for now, though. We'll see how long that lasts.

The Spider Undead still has some evil power in card form? hmm, well that can't bode well... Hajime must be pretty confident to stay with Amane and her mom while the dragonfly Undead's basically taunting him with, "I'm gonna go after them to get to you". I wonder what that Undead's deal with him is anyway...

Hmm. Getting a One Ring kinda vibe from the spider belt...The chief's going away again. I wonder if something bad'll happen to him this time...

Man, this Mutsuki dude has some shit luck. So,it was cool to see Blade and Chalice kinda working together, however briefly. And we got another new fight location! Crowded restaurant! With Kenzaki trying to protect the civilians.

Hmm, it was never explained why that Dragonfly undead was targeting Hajime like that. I wonder if it'll come back? Aha, and the spider-rider finally shows himself...He doesn't appear to be too friendly, though...Though, considering the belt's actions, it's not surprising.

I caught part of the Wizard / Fourze movie this morning. Didn't have time before work to watch the whole thing, but I had to fast forward to the triumphant return of Hino Eiji! It was only for a minute. But boy was it nice to see him. Looking forward to watching the whole thing after work.

I just finished watching Ultimatum and for the most part it was really fun. But to avoid spoilers I'm going to black most of this, so read at your own peril.

I can understand MatrixBeast's thoughts on fan service now. Every time a woman, in a skirt, did anything, there was a slow motion close-up of their ass. And Poitrine was the same was. She did a kick, close up of her crotch. Once or twice I expect, it's Japan. But every single time? Same with close-ups of Nadeshiko's ass. What she has of one.

Everything else was great. The story was solid, I love Inazuman or whatever he was called. My memory sucks, you all know this. And I absolutely loved the team-up with OOO, Birth, W, and Accel. Accel is slowly growing on me. He is. Also nice seeing Eiji-kun again, he needs to be in more. If you can find it watch it. And I won't spoil the ending of who Poitrine is.

I just noticed KRDL says "Wizard & Fourze Movie Ultimatum DC SD/HD TVN now up!" what is that? Does it need to be watched? Is it any good? What will I have needed to have seen before it? Cheers.

It's a Movie War, so not really.
But they can be fun, and Core, so yeah, I'd say watch it.
Though it takes place after Fourze, so I'd suggest finishing that before tackling this.

In terms of watching, I just checked out another episode of Fourze while waiting for the curry house to open, it was episode 31 where we have Aries' first fight.

He is AWESOME, considering how kid friendly this show is (for obvious reasons and reasons I commend) the fact that Aries can drop people into comas is actually pretty threatening and he gave a much bigger sense of shit got real than Cancer or Scorpion did. Still he doesn't hold a candle to Libra and Virgo who are so far absolutely badass and completely under utilised.

Sadly the spotlight was kinda stolen by Ryusei killing Gen with the one inch punch. Please don't die but GODDAMN that was awesome. It was also great to finally see Shun and the Dizer get something to do again.

Basically this was a great episode to come back into the show with after three or so days.

That would be the movie I was talking about in my last post.
