I'm seven Gym Leaders down in White 2 now, and have two legendaries on my team.

Got my preorder for Y! I'm more excited for this gen than I thought I would be. I think I'm going to cut myself off from this thread, pokememes, and other news sites so I'm not spoiled any more than I already am . I want to go into it pretty much blind.

Yeah, apparently the review copies have been distributed and the date to talk about them is the fourth, which is still 8 days before release. Never mind potential earlier leaks. I'm staying faaar away from anything.

Picked up White 2 and White again today to, first, finally claim my first ever Palkia after downloading it at Gamestop the other day. And second, work on passing over my living dex to White 2 for the millionth time... Partway into Gen 4.

Those fake designs did look interesting. I want to go with Fennekin, but I don't know if I should, since there's that Torchic distribution, and having two fire types does not a balanced team make.

EDIT: I've heard some rumors that your Pokémon can die in X and Y, does anyone know if there's any truth to this?

Nope. I don't think it would be true though, because of one thing: Cut, fluffy creatures in a kid's game. It doesn't seem right that your 'friends' should die.

I honestly disapprove this. Making Pokémon die will make battles really uncomfortable. Instead of a mere sport it would become a really cruel thing.

Rumors that your Pokemon can die, get stolen, be injured (That can't be healed by a Pokemon Center), run away, etc are all lies. They've been around since Gen 2 hit the scene, and I can't ever see them implementing that into the games.

Things that I just realized:
Male Smeargles are Arceus-sends for Chain-Breeding egg moves.
B/W2 is not a game. It is a resource for building skills and teams for the metagame.
I don't know whether-or-not to use Dream World.
