Especially when it shows in the preview of the power him using that shield to block one of those heavy machine guns, but when you use it every fourth bullet still gets through. And those stupid snipers on the roof somehow still hit you even if you're standing under the damn railroad tracks.

What the fuck are you even supposed to do here? Run? Playing a superhero sandbox game where your main tactic is running and hiding is not fun at all. At first, in a meta sense, playing a depowered Cole is pretty fun but this mission reminded me that playing this badass demi God who was just as powerful in cut scenes as he is in the game is the whole reason I loved inFamous 2 in the first place, both in itself but also over the sea of similar games. inFamous One took away the main thing I enjoyed, and now I'm stuck as a mule I really don't have any motivation to persevere. Like I say, on inFamous 2 where Cole could take a beating and had crowd control supers this was all really manageable stuff - and pretty damn entertaining as well. The ending of Festival of Blood forces you to hold out on waves upon waves of enemies, and I beat it on the first try, without ever feeling like I wanted to kill myself with my controller. inFamous One Cole however is just not built for this kind of combat, I don't think I've ever played a game before where the gameplay actually feels wrong for the character you're playing. I dunno how people have managed to finish this game. |

I started Curious village. And let me open up by saying this is the first game i buy this year that isn't owned by Capcom! *Happy dance!*
Okay going in, i can tell this is the first of the series, everything feels. I don't know, dated i guess? It feels like the first Ace attorney game in that way. And the voice acting is kind of muffled. |
Oh my God the uses of the Blink power are almost endless in Dishonored. My favourite was when I blinked onto a Watchtower, used a Rewire tool and killed EVERYONE. Supposed to play it without High Chaos, you tell me? Then stop making the chaos so damn fun!
The more you play, the more aware you become of this games adaptability and the more I feel bad for ever saying a bad thing about it. It's a game that only becomes more enjoyable the more you play, rather than the other way around like it is with many other games. The more I learn the more I wanna play it from the start with my newfound knowledge in mind, to see if I can do things better than when I bumbled around the early levels. |
Playing more of Professor layton... Suddenly murder!
I'm getting suspicious of the owner of the house because she has the same name as the villain of AA3. I'm left wondering where the story is gonna go next, i haven't felt that way in a long time and i look forward to see where the story heads from here, ya did good Layton! |
Rather frustratingly I beat Dishonered's final boss non lethally but then not realising it would happen, the Guards leading Lord Regent away managed to set off the traps I made and then all died. And somehow the Lord Regent dying means the recording I spread to the world of his tyranny...never happened?

Trying not to look up the answers to these puzles without a gamefaqs guide... one of the hardest things i've had to go through.
I made it to a part of the game where night falls in the town they're visiting and i like how this games world looks at night. :D New chances to find hint coins! |
