I mean, he could but...technically Surprise Future takes place chronologically a bit before recent Ghost episodes. So it'd be kind of weird to improve to that point he already was at....

(Actually it takes place weeks before the series even started, but really nothing about this chronology makes sense. )

What if one of the Ghost movies blows our minds by actually explaining how Ghost shows up in Drive a month before he should exist. Or in the case of Surprise Future, like a couple of months. I mean the next one is supposed to have time travel in it again, right?

Also, I wonder how long Specter has been a Rider for? It makes sense that he'd be more recent than Takeru I guess, but I almost hope they explain that he's been Specter for longer and that he was the one who created Newton before losing it to Neo-Shade... one can dream, right?...

All isn't completely lost. It's still possible to fix the continuity yet!

You guys mentioning this made me very confused. So for Ghost, Surprise Future takes place after Drive's finale because he uses Newton in the movie and he finds Newton in 48. But in Drive, Surprise Future is before 48. This could've all been avoided if Ghost transformed into Musashi, Edison, or Robin in Surprise Future instead of Newton. Or he could've just stayed in Ore Damashii. I think it would've made more sense to go with Edison in Surprise Future because it could've switched places with Newton in the Surprise Future set and Ghost Driver. My brain feels tired.

I would like it if both of those things would happen. Especially the thing with Makoto losing Newton to Neo-Shade. That'd be neat.

It would raise the question of why he'd have so few Eyecons if he's been at it for longer though. Takeru's not even two weeks into it and already found three. (four if we want to count newton, do we even?)

Speaking of Specter though, I hope him jacking Edison lasts for more than an episode. Takeru has so many forms he's really never going to be able to use them evenly. If Makoto takes some for himself that gives all the Damashii more chances to get used...I'd like that.

Hope he steals a couple more too, really. Maybe Newton and Beethoven...I would like to see Takeru use Nobunaga sometime too though, I think the color scheme would be cool...

So I had a really boring class today and it got me thinking about stupid stuff. One of them: Is there a deeper reason to why Spectre’s jingle says "Spectre" instead of "Ore"?

I mean, "Ore" means "I" or "myself", right? So when Ghost’s jingle says Ore, it means that he uses his own soul to transform. When he uses other Eyecons, it says their names instead of Ore.

But Spectre’s jingle says "Spectre". At first I assumed it’s because they want to keep Ghost and Spectre different for the audience (toy-sales and stuff) but that could’ve been easily achieved by saying "Ore" at first and switch the Ghost at the end of his jingle for Spectre.

And you don’t even need to market the Spectre Eyecon anyways since it comes with the GanGan-Hand.

So… does Spectre use the soul of someone else to transform, and is that why his Eyecon doesn’t say "Ore"? I mean we have the EKG-lines and the Doki Doki and all that stuff, maybe Spectre is actually alive and uses the soul of someone deer to him who lies in a coma to transform?

Kinda like a combination of Raia and Knight from Ryuki.

I could see Specter taking the forms whose capabilities match his weapons (Edison/Billy-His Gun, Benkei-the default form for the hand, and whatever goes best with the scythe mode)

I have theory similar to that for Ghost. I was thinking Ghost can use an Eyecon that has his dad's soul for his final form allowing tnem to fight side by side.
