I love Endless Waltz. Well, the movie version as I hate the OVA one.

That what confused me when I watch ova it felt like they just split the movie in two four part wasn't it.

Finished Dusk Maiden of Amnesia. Nice little mix of horror, mystery, and romance with even a drop of comedy here and there.

Phooey, I really loved the dubbed but I didn't know Funi was going to do some thing like this which is why I watched the second season on subs till blu-rays. Well at least their not far into the show.

As for me, I'll just wait till the anime/cartoon streaming site I frequent posts the episodes.

Just watched one piece movie 12 film Z Dubbed I really enjoyed it the only thing I would say is that I thought they would keep the work Haki in it and not translate it to spirit. That's just a minor nit pick but the cast for kizaru and akainu where great chooses. I loved brooks voice in this. Also this was second time watching the film the first was subed last year. I am still tring to find film 11 subed what is a all CGI movie.

I'll be watching Film Z in the next week or so.

Also do you have a multi region DVD player due to UK got one piece movie set of the other film sadly they are subbed only

Man, this week's Psycho-Pass was brutal. I'm absolutely loving this season so far.

Gah, I thought Psycho-Pass was off last week since my streaming site still doesn't have episode 3 up... Guess I'll be watching a double feature tonight heh.

I do as I have a crap done of Region 2 DVDs. However, if I'm going to get the other movies, it will only be when they are released in the US, otherwise, I'll just download the fansubs.

BTW, in case you guys did not see it, FUnimation is going to start streaming new animes dubbed shortly after they premier in Japan. Psycho Pass 2 will start being streamed dub with episode 1 on Nov 8th and each episode will follow forth every Sat.

...one was awesome, one was quite good, and one I didn't even bother finishing. See if you can match them up.

I can guess that Build Fighters was awesome but I'm unsure about the other two.

This week's BF episode (Try BTW, not season 1) wasn't particularly memorable, but that 00 episode was freakin' amazing. I feel sorry for Saji, he and Louise helped me sit through the first part of the show, and now he's lost his girlfriend AND his sister. Seed Destiny was downright boring. I get that political negotiations take a long time, but you don't need to devote 2 whole episodes to things going nowhere. At least they kinda introduced the Savior Gundam last episode. This one I didn't even bother finishing. And with 00 and BF going as strong as they are, I'm not sure I will any time soon. I had high hopes for Destiny when I started it, it's a shame it didn't stay good.

00 and Build Fighters (both seasons) are written by the same guy. Also, with you nearing the end of season 1, I'll warn you that 00 season 2 is really decisive among the fanbase. I personally love it and think it has the better Gundam designs, but some people think 00's quality dropped off in season 2 and was shit into the movie.

Don't even get me started on the movie. I think it is fantastic and has very few flaws but everyone else seems to think it was the worst thing that happened to Gundam since Seed destiny at the point the movie came out.

Cardfight Vanguard G Ride 1 Chrono.

This was a decent start to this series, i really like Chrono so far and i really want to own a deck of hi's clan the Gear Chronicle and i'm interested to see where the story goes from here.
My one complaint is that the cardfight went by too fast, i mean Chrono hardly did anything.


Also that Aichi cameo at the end was king of neat, reminded me of the beginning of Yugioh GX where Jaden met Yugi.

Watched this thing called Short Peace today which featured a bunch of anime shorts. To be honest, they all sucked. Possessions was the most creative of them though, but made very little sense. The rest were just blah, especially the last one titled something like The Last Weapon, which was flat out boring as hell.

So I decided to watch Sword Art Online. I think I chose well.

It's one of those shows that the internet is split up on whenever it's good or bad.
I personally think it's good so yeah good choice.

Watched the Gundam Seed Astray animated short. I know nothing about the SEED Universe or Astray, but it was cool. Seeing the red frame pick up that mobile suit head and use it as a beam weapon was really cool. And it was great to see the Red Frame's badassery animated.

I personally feel that while it has an interesting premise it does get bogged down by certain tropes (Boring Invincible Hero, Tsunderes) and one story arc goes on forever and a day.

But then again I've never seen it so you'll have to let us know what you think of it once you get into it enough.

GX had a dark tone? And 5Ds was dark right from the get go.

Mostly in Season 3. And that's mostly done because of Yubel.

This reminds me that i should at some point in my life to watch season 4 of GX.

Season 3 of GX is like what, episode 105+? I didn't stick around that long as I got sick of the show doing nothing in the second season. It also didn't help that I despise Judai with a passion.

Gundam Wing Endless Waltz is up on Gundaminfo right now. And for once, they have the dub up too!

Ghost in the Shell Arise 1 and 2 - The dub of this is quite good, but I am really having a hard time adjusting to a few of the new voices, specifically Togusa, Aramaki, and Ishikawa. I do miss Epcar as Batou, but Sabat did a good enough job to mimic the new Japanese voice. Also, this is my fourth time seeing the first episode and I think I am finally understanding the plot to it. :lol

DBZ Battle of Gods - This movie was awesome in theaters, it is just as awesome on video, especially with the extra footage. The new scene with Whis opening a hole in the window to ask 18 about ice cream was freaking hilarious as was the added backstory to Pilaf and the Rock Paper Scissors challenge to Oolong. Still a nice big 8/10.

I finished MS Team. Final thoughts?

Well on a critical level it isn't that great, and that mostly comes from the later half of the story. Shiro and Aina's romance is just so sudden and almost forced. I'm not apposed to love at first sight stories, but this one just isn't developed enough. It also leads to the story getting a little confusing with Shiro's involvement with her and the whole way the military treats it. Aina's part of this with Ginias is handled well enough, but Shiro's is just a mess. Plus I'm just going to say it, Last Resort was a pointless episode. Along with all of this, Ginias himself was a weak villain. There's no backstory or reason given as to why he is the way he is. I understand his obsession with Apsalus from a scientific and creation standpoint, but his obsession with keeping it to himself and whole "Fuck everybody and everything" attitude is bonkers, simply because it's never explained.

All of that said however, the first half of the story was quite nice, the rest of the characters are great and have ample development, the animation while dated was still pretty good, the mech designs were great, and the action was amazing. The fight against Norris has to be one of the best I've ever seen in an anime. So on a critical analysis, MS Team is a little above average. If the later half of the show was a bit stronger on the story aspect, it would be a lot better. I'd say the show gets a 3.75.

On a personal level however, I loved this show flaws and all. I love the designs, I love the setting, I love the simplistic and compact esque story. Yes the story could have been better, and maybe elongated a little bit. But as it sits it's alright. I never found myself bored outside of episode 12, something which only Build Fighters has managed to do as far as Gundam goes. I got hyped for the show very quickly and I'm still hyped over it (I must get representations of all of the suits). So to wrap this up, I loved it on a personal level and as of now, it's my favorite regular Gundam show.

Next up on the Gundam viewing, After War Gundam X.

After War X is a good choice. But personally, I'll wait until the eventual overpriced Right stuf dvds of it come out so I can support the series.

MS Team is one of those series that should have only been half of its actual length.

Ehhh, I can agree and disagree. I think if it ran a bit longer maybe the story could have salvaged itself and opened up more development. But at the same time I can see your point, maybe bumping it down to six hour long or so episodes would've made it more compact and smooth.
