Pone thing or is Lunaala deriving from Horse in some way?

Sun sounds like some kind of lion, but I guess they just didn't want to be too obvious with poni.

Obviously Solgaleo is a lion. Or lion-like. Lions are associated with the sun. Maybe y'all should look at animals associated with the moon for potential outcomes. Two jump right to the forefront of my mind, Rabbit and Deer.

Lunaala is most likely a winged creature. Ala is Wing in Spanish. People have been speculating it to be an Owl or a Bat.

I'm thinking rabbit with wings for ears, myself.

So the Pokémon version of Lopmon? XD

So, grains of salt & all but the same trademarks for Sun/Moon legends MAY have revealed the names of the Starter Pokemon for this new series:

*Mokurou ("Tree Owl")
*Nyabii ("Fire Cat")
*Ashimari ("Marine SeaLion")

I hope these turn out to be true, i like the name Lunaala.

Grass owl? Sounds like a grass flying type.

I'm hoping the water one isn't a Sea Lion and it's just another mistake in translation like the "Ice Wolf" and "Digging Bee" were before XY's release.

We just had Oshawott in 5th Gen who's final evo is based on a Sea Lion.

I'm fine with Fire Cat and Grass Owl.
