Things have been absolute chaos at the warehouse I work at lately. My state is very likely going to shut down again, so we've been having a ton of orders coming in, ontop of it being summer(the 2nd busiest season) too. This has lead to mandatory 11-hour shifts across the board, meaning everyone's tired ontop of being stressed. Combine this with half my team getting fired for not showing up to work and you have a recipe for disaster.

Like, don't get me wrong, I'm happy to have the job I do, and the extra money ever since Quarantine started is nice, but like, OW MY EVERYTHING.

my buddy's father may be dying. i got a text earlier stating he was in the hospital and apparently has a brain bleed.

i've known him and his family since we were kids. Hard to picture losing him. I have no idea how to help my friend get through this.

And we room together too. if he has to move out I can't cover this place on my own and I don't think i can find a new place easily enough under normal circumstances, let alone the world as it is today. Of course I can't actually bring that UP right now because i'll just sound like a selfish asshole. i FEEL like a selfish asshole just for thinking it.

I am so sorry to hear that Paladin. While I can't exactly do anything directly to help you, my thoughts are with you and your friend. I hope things improve soon.

Currently watching FF 8 The Fate Of The Furious with an hour left or so. The only movie of the 9 I missed (Including Hobbs And Shaw) as well as Ice Age 1 - 5. And Spider Man 6 Homecoming as well as Spider Man 7 Far From Home. After that I'll be caught up for new movies that I want to see.

Also watching episodes up to Go On for the Ranger series. After that I'll be on the pirate series and the 35th. I should be out of Go On before 2023. Resuming from Kaku.

Need the 2 series after Magi next.

Stupid mobile.

I've been where your friends family are. My godfather had a brain bleed (stroke) back in 15. He recovered (mostly, he wasn't exactly the same). But last year he had a blood clot and they put him on blood thinners, sadly this lead to another brain bleed. We lost him on March 21st last year. What I'm getting at is he can survive and come through relatively unscathed, but he will be changed. But there's also the instance where he may not.
My suggestion with the rooming situation is begin looking for other living accommodations on the chance of grave circumstances. Don't bring it up, just quietly look for another and have backups in case things get taken. Let them deal with their issue and you quietly deal with what you have to. And pray he recovers. Do whatever you can to be of help to him, show support, and be a friend. Because in the end, that's the best thing you can do.
