In X/Y, my team was 2 Kalos Pokemon, and 4 returning Pokemon (In my defense, they gave me 3 of the returning Pokemon, though), so I want to try my hardest to have a team of pure Alola Pokemon.

As an aside, I hope this game doesn't hand out too many Pokemon. Kalos throwing a Kanto Starter and Lucario at you was a bit much...

No, XY were all on the same day. Every Pokemon Game since then hasn't.

I think it might have to do with some areas in Europe breaking the street date with Pokemon games.
Maybe they figured that if they move the street date to later than everyone else the people breaking the street date will release it on the world wide release?

I like the idea of the moon legendary but something about it is mildly off-putting. Sun lion is slightly overdesigned but I think I like it more.
