I still feel that it worries too much about setting up the sequel that the movie alone just feels rather weak. While it didn't fill me with as much dread as I anticipated, it also didn't quell my fears.

I have a hard time identifying Mao(Luka/Gokai Yellow)'s voice.
I can definitely identify Junya(Gai/Gokai Silver)'s voice but Mao's voice feels different from her Gokaiger days. So already in episode 1 they have confirmed the existence of the 02 digidestined and I wonder if they will ever make an appearance again. As much as the first eight are the protagonists I personally liked the digidestined from 02 and it would be great to find out how they are missing in action. The way they teased it already on the first five minutes of episode 1 got me wanting to know more about their whereabouts.

agreed. also MAO voice Hikairi Taichi sister and she got really good a voice acting.

i mean eppisode one was slow but after that it did start to bulid up and mystry like you said about 02 cast MIA mean they might be traped or some thing in the digital world. and have no way back at this point time. caure remeber time move diffrently to real world and digital world. plus it further confired when we see Takeru and hikari digivice being there 02 ones.

Alright, I'm halfway through Saikai. Really enjoying it. All those evolutions hit all the right nostalgia points. And the cg isn't half bad for once. Toei has come a long way.

Kinda bugged me that CR is using the term "digidestined" considering that they've otherwise avoided all other terms from the dubs, but eh. I guess 02 made it so it's a viable canon translation, but I still wish they'd stuck with "chosen children."

In the dub it was, in Japanese it's Piyomon. But in tri they're calling her Biyomon. Even when the romanization shows up during the evolution, the name that pops up is Biyomon...

And...halfway through episode three....no! Fuck you, chrunchyroll. Her name is Tailmon, not Gatomon. I have ears, I know what they're saying. Come on. They're not calling the humans by their dub names, why are they doing this? Fricking crunchyroll. Even though I have the subscription, I'm tempted to just download this from somewhere else so I can tamper with the subs. This is some bullshit.

Pretty odd for CR to mix up dub and Japanese names. It would be like if CR sub Dragon Ball Super and use both Funimation dub and Japanese names. Like spelling Freeza as "Frieza" or saying "Kibito Kai" instead of Kaioshin.

Of all the shit Tri does, you're complaining about Tailmon's name, a character who's name is spoken aloud, what, 3 times throughout 4 episodes?

I didn't really notice the whole sub issue until tonight. When I watch all four parts last night, I was having too much fun to notice it.
