So far, the first one looks more natural. I get what you're going for in the second shot, though: I think Tendou also needs to be in motion for that one, with appropriate posture and head position.

They're both great shots, however.

Yea I only changed Kagamis pose and left Tendou unchanged. I tried a bunch more trying to get it to work, and most of it is my own inability to get it working, but I think theres something about the Kabuto SS hips that make it slightly awkward too. I just gave up and decided to commit sudoku

Like most people, I think it looks great! But I think I get where you are coming from about trying to make look more natural. I don't really know how I'd do it but maybe if both were in a slight walking pose might improve it? Also, I'm curious, from the Flickr page it shows your camera settings for the photo at f/10 with a shutter speed of 1/200 at 100 ISO. How do you get the photo so clear? When I go down to 100 ISO and f/7.1 I need shutter speed at 1/100 or slower to get a bright enough photo.

Oh, so the EXIF data is a little misleading because it only shows camera settings but not light settings. I use two flashes off camera so you only need to shoot at your cameras maximum sync speed (mines 1/200). The flashes fire at a very high intensity for a split second, but the trade off is you can't see what your image is going to look like until after you take it.

Ah I figured. I want to get into external flashes but unfortunately my camera doesn't have the ports for them. It'll be something I keep in mind when I decide I want to upgrade. Haha.

Sony A5000 mirrorless camera. Unfortunately picked a camera that doesn't have a hotshoe. Didn't really know at the time.

so it would be a little more difficult to do, but you can actually trigger flashes with your pop up flash. you would need to like crank the flash compensation as low as possible and maybe try to cover it a bit so it doesnt let as much light out, but you would be able to optically trigger an external flash in slave mode.

Yeah, I read up a bit about doing that but haven't committed to anything yet. I'll have to do more research first.

Oh I wouldn't say they are that much better, yours are pretty good too! I've had the camera for about 1.5 years and it definitely takes practice and trial and error to figure out how to make photos turn out the way you want. I am still learning too! Haha.

Started reorganizing my SS shelf and figured I'd go for kicks only, minus kivala since I didn't really have anywhere to put her. Still need to open up W and Ultimate Kuuga, but I need to order some more stands first. I really wish there was a compendium of Rider Kick poses, it's surprisingly difficult to find high resolution reference photos for most kicks.

I take screen shots from different episodes to get ideas for posing. Of course it never works out and my pictures still come out lousy. I wish I had the kind of artistic eye that photographers like dashi dejiru and kuroneko zero have.

My initial impressions of him are quite positive. I just can not believe how accurate this figure is to the actual suit. I don't even own the original W anymore, but now I see every flaw that old figure had. On one hand, I love that the USB drives can come out of the belt. On the other, I hate it because they don't lock in, the just slide in, so any time I tilt the figure to switch hands or put him into his kick pose, they fall out. It's very frustrating. That nitpick aside, this figure rocks and is one of the best Kamen Rider Figuarts to date. I can't wait until they get to OOO.

Basically my opinion on the figure, though I sacrificed the ability to remove the memories by taping them in there...

I might have to do something to get them to stay in. Oh yeah, one other thing I failed to mention was the scarf feels very fragile. Every time I touch it I feel like I'm going to break the peg.

I think they are supposed to fit in snuggly but they obviously suffer from a QC issue. I've heard people have no problems at all, mine is fine for the Joker memory (in fact it's SUPER tight) and awful for the Cyclone, and then others just have problems with them both.
