I think that with the finale around the corner we should take this time to look back at season four with some of our favorite episodes... and not so favorite episodes.

My top five for this season would be Pinkie Pride, For Whom the Sweetie Belle Tolls, Maud Pie, Rarity Takes Manehatten and Inspiration Manifestation.

As for my least favorite... Somepony to Watch Over Me... Not that it's a bad episode mind you it's just... meh? :confused:

If we're talking about favorite episodes, then mine are easily Rarity Takes Manhatten, Pinkie Pride, Maud Pie, and Power Ponies.

Least favorite is clearly It Ain't Easy Being Breezies.

I'm thinking people are gonna drop out of this show at season 5, there's no way a show can go that long without it's quality dropping.

Breezies was just okay in my opinion... not good or bad... just meh.

I feel that this series keeps getting better with each season, but yeah they'll run out of steam eventually... hopefully that won't be for a long time. :lol

It was just a lot more...Subpar compared to other episodes. It just didn't pull me in as much. It was kind of dull, in my opinion.

I'm much of the same way... the mane six as breezies kind of freaked me out though. :lol

I thought it was cute, it just kind of came out of nowhere :lol

I'm pretty excited for the finale as it's the first one I get to watch as it airs. This whole season has been that way for me and it makes me happy that I get to experience it all with you guys. :)

It will be? Interesting. I've been actively watching the season finales since S2, and it's still my personal favorite~

I never understood the issue of Twilight having a crush. It's not like her entire character revolved around him.

For me it's not so much Twilight having a love interest it's more of all Flash Sentry was created to be was that love interest. He has no character of his own and simply exist for Twi to faun over him... does that make any sense? :o

I understand where you're coming from. I just fail to see Flash as a bad character, especially after weathering through non-characters such as Trixie, Flim and Flam, Big Mac, Maud, Photo Finish, Vinyl, Fleur, etc etc etc.

I guess if you don't have a vagina, you don't get a free pass, because it seems only the male characters get any form of backlash.

So...it seems that season 5 may be the one to truly shake things up, since season 4 didn't do that all too much and we thought it would. Also, eat it all the people who ragequit thinking that Twilight becoming an Alicorn would cause her to leave her friends. She gets to be a Princess AND keep her friends! :D

So, I liked it, and I think this is the most action-y we've ever seen this show, yeah sure...we've gotten a single magical blast before, but never a full blown DBZ-esque fight scene. I also like that this episode really hammered home the subtitle of the show...sure the Elements of Harmony kinda did that, but not to the same extent, I feel.

I also enjoyed this season a lot more as a whole over season 3...but I'm not sure if it beats out season 1, but if I compare the finales...I like this one a lot more than Best Night Ever. I think I'd have to compare each individual episode, from both seasons 1 and 4 to make my decision on that.

All in all, season 4 was a fun ride, and I am very much looking forward to season 5! :D
