...I'd just like to point out that Yokai watch did the exact same thing first and that the boy in the illustration that shows off this feature kind of looks like the protagonist of Yokai watch.

Probably not, they usually hide those things under the clouds.

I don't ever expect to use the QR feature more than possibly once.

There's something in the northeast corner of the map obscured mostly by clouds. Expect something interesting to be there.

Pokemon using the 3DS's built in features? Clearly they're mimicking the genius of Yokai Watch.

Well it's either that or making it the Safari Zone. Which if so, I hope to see meld the ORAS Safari Zone's departure from the stupid step timer and capture mechanics for the ability to just wander around and fight like normal, with the Camo Safari Ball design from DPP that exists in a "attendant" informs you whenever you enter that all Pokemon captured inside the Safari Zone will have their Pokeballs given the Safari Ball design. Or you just get 30 Safari Balls and are told you can't use normal balls but still battle like normal.

Well it's totally fine to use the features of the system your game runs on.

I'm just sayin that it very similar how these two games use they're features and the way game freaks promoting it looks similar too.

I think the best method is to turn it into a straight, actual time limit.
30 minutes. Go nuts. Run in circles, etc.

I never said a time limit was bad. I said the step time limit was bad.

And I want more Safari Balls. I want to have Ditto in a Safari Ball and have the Ball descendant Mechanic to work on Ditto where Ditto overrides and ALWAYS passes down its Ball design.

The step limit wasn't even a limit.

You could just stand in the same spot, doing circles, triggering encounters, without taking or registering any steps. That's what I used to do anyway.
