Aaaah thanks that makes much more sense. The way people were talking about it it just sounded like they prevented COIE from happening which should have just revert everything back to Pre-Crisis status.

Crisis definitely still happened in regards to the New 52/New Earth world.

Are you telling me that Convergence actually did something?

Having read it myself now it kinda didnt really. It just gave an explanation for why the Multiverse was different since N52 and gave the Earth-2 folks a new planet.

So while it had some sort of ramifications for the wider universe it didnt amount to a whole lot.

... Maybe I should sell my issues of Convergence. Earn back some money.

To be honest you most certainly wont miss them.

The event was a huge letdown at least for me who didnt got any of the tie-ins. The main book was filled with alot of missed potential for cool story ideas and boiled down to an overblown epilogue for Earth-2 Worlds End. Filled with some mediocre artwork, overwritten dialogue and unfocused storytelling.

Makes me glad I was only in it for the tie-ins.

Making it a weekly book really hurt that one in my opinion. Especially in those early issues when everything boiled down to the Earth-2 characters just standing around a bunch talking about what to do.

100% agreed. It's a letdown of a story but I applaud the effort put into the ending with rebooting the rest of the multiverse. Ultimately it doesn't matter in the slightest to the New 52 Earth because those characters are barely even tangentially involved. Just as I'd always thought it had nothing to do with the main universe but served as more of vehicle for the wider multiverse. I love what it did for the multiverse by books end, but hated that we had to waste 2 months worth of publication to get that very minimal (in comparison) payoff.
