While I'm not a fan of the fact that it is another Ex-Aid remold suit, the shoulders and coat tails do help give Chronos a bit of an imposing silhouette. The completely black eyes also help.

Them hiding Chronos' identity is making me think it's not Kuroto....I mean, that reveal would be sort of anticlimatic if it was.

The fact that Chronos is shown attacking other Bugsters should mean something. But they're all part of this game scenario, so it mat not mean anything other than they don't give a shit and will take on any and all opponents.

They did the exact same thing with Sigurd, however. Not to mention, they're hyping Dan-as-Genm-Level-0 as a good guy.
So it is, in fact, likely the same set up as the time Dan was infected with Charley...only drawn out over a few episodes.

Then again, Dan has every reason to hate the Bugsters by this point (and the scans do say he wants revenge on Parad), and he wants to be the ultimate game master - not the extinction of the human race. So I can see the clear-cut humans vs bugsters set up becoming a three-on-three battle royale, wherein any two sides might temporarily team up to fight another.

Yeah, but in Gaim, Sigurd was small fry in the long run, plus Sid was more shady than evil leading up to him becoming a rider.

As far as the whole "Dan being infected" thing, I think we all knew a betrayal was coming in some shape or form which is why they didn't bother drawing it out.

Well If Dan is going to be Chronos I hope they don't pull the Charlie scenario again, because that would be lazy writing. They also already did the Sigurd thing early with the original Gemn and how they didn't tell us his identity till episode 5.
I don't have a problem with Dan being Chronos it's just I don't want them repeating same old plot threads with Dan that they previously did with him.

I feel like Dan is going to be Chronos, because why else would we see Genm holding the Buggle Driver II in one of the scans?

because he might drop it and someone who has a chonicle gashat can transform into chronos like taiga, dan probably was trying to become chronos but he didnt transform with it either because he doesnt have a chronicle gashat on him.

Chronos has to be Dan Masamune! He's not the bad guy.
