I loved the fight scene. It felt straight out of the comics (Which are amazing).
I also died laughing at Discord's entrance. I don't know why, but the Mary Poppins style entrance just killed me :lol

Over all, I liked Season 4 over 1 and 3, but 2 I still consider better. Mainly because S2 was too godtier.

Same here. I liked 4 more than 3, but I'm not sure if I like it more than 1 or not. :lol

As for Discord's entrance, I liked it too.

I much preferred it over 1. S1 was alright, but too many of the episodes just don't do anything for me. Like, about 10 of the 26 episodes I actively enjoy, whereas only about 4 of the episodes in S4 I actually disliked.

They didn't offend me, they just didn't entertain me that much.
Hell, I was never really offended by any episode, really. Sure, some episodes I found to be dumb, but they weren't offensively bad.

Yeah! I was hoping he'd show up in the episode, but alas. So maybe the comics is where he'd get to shine!

Well...Sunset Shimmer got one, so maybe? I mean, the comics do seem to be the place writers get the most creative freedom.

That and the comics are just awesome~

That was an amazing season finale, it felt like they took so many risks, until the end with the cruddy song. I want figs of super twi spark and super rarity now though.

I want one of those, too.

And it's why I think this finale felt closer to the comics. It wasn't as afraid to take a step forward, doing what the show typically avoids doing.

So that finale... holy shit, where do I even begin? Well I guess Tirek is as good a place as any.

What can I say? He's a good villain and threatens Discord as my favorite MLP villain thus far. He's big, he's powerful, he's threatening and I'm pretty sure he can destroy all of Equestria in one fell swoop if he wanted to. Unlike Discord who arguably has the most power but the least malice, Terik has all of the power as is more than willing to use it... Also, was I the only one who thought he was a monkey when he first appeared? :lol

The conclusion was quite possibly the most intense thing I have ever seen in this show and it honestly had me and my whole family on the edge of our seats throughout the whole thing, yes even my anti pony brother was fully invested in what was going on. Gotta say though, the part that hit me the hardest was the library's destruction... that really hurt. :(

My only complaints with the episode? The songs were kind of meh and... Flash Sentry was in it. :p

I think a moment of silence is needed for the passing of one of the shows most iconic and beloved landmarks.

The destruction of the library hurt. It survived 4 seasons and a movie before finally biting the dust. I was sad to see it go...

I really enjoyed the finale up until the rainbow powers. Maybe if the manes and tails weren't enlarged at all they'd look better, but those killed them for me. They just looked ridiculous as it was, though.

Listening to "You'll Play Your Part" and "Let The Rainbow Remind You" once again... not so bad this time around, so yeah only complaint with the finale is Flash Sentry which is a nitpick at best. :lol

I went from mild enjoyment to complete swooning the moment she got a part in the song :lol

And the rainbow powers were ridiculous, but they didn't ruin the finale for me. The toys were advertising their appearance for half a year, so I kind of anticipated them coming.

I didn't have much issue with Flash Sentry. I just kind of shrugged him off.

I've learned to do that too. I'm fine with him showing up every none and again, just so long as they keep him in the background I think I'll be good. :lol

I wonder if he'll have a big role in Rainbow Rocks :lol

I'd be cool with it, so long as they give him more of a personality. :lol
