Also, Hyper Training lets your raise the IVs of level 100 Pokemon. Have to use Bottle Caps handed over to a special NPC to do it.

I sure as hell hope they're farm-able in some way... Because holy shit.

I hope Hyper Training is more for Pokemon with lower IVs than anything else (I really, really hated IV breeding). Because, if so, I'm glad Pokemon is tackling this particular barrier of entry

They should just get rid of IV’s really. I don’t understand what it’s supposed to add to the game anyways. EV’s I get, you can build a Pokémon’s stats differently depending on what role it needs to play in your team. But IV’s basically just make any team of an inexperienced player a little worse for no reason, since IV breeding is too confusing and takes too long. I know how it’s done and I have bred perfect Pokémon several times but it’s just way too tiresome.

Well, the problem is that it's hard to just...Get rid of them, unless they force every Pokemon imported into Sun/Moon to just randomly gain a possible 31 points in each stat.

I would like to see them gone, too, though. It's tedious and just plain boring to IV breed 1 Pokemon, let alone a full team. It's nice they're taking steps to close the gap, at least.

Meant to add a bit of randomness so every Pokemon's a little different. Of course people found out about it and exploited the feature like mad though.

You know a few of the Pokemon descriptions this generation are really f*cking depressing.

Yeah, make each Pokemon unique and special. But it's just not that well thought out. A Pokemon's quality shouldn't be determined by an RNG, though they have been taking slow steps to make it more manageable, it's just too flawed a system, especially for someone who prefers to battle.

A lot of Pokemon descriptions can be a tad depressing when you really get into them :lol
