Like forever ago because all they keep showing are the same reused filler flashbacks over and over and over and over and OH MY GOD WE'VE SEEN THESE ALL BEFORE STOPPING MAKING LONG STRINGS OF ENTIRE EPISODES OUT OF THEM...OVER again.

Though this week might finally actually be progressing. Preview only showed new action scenes, so we can only hope.

I found G-Reco to be massively bland and boring, what do you like about it, exactly? I'm not saying that you shouldn't like it, I'm just curious about what makes you like it.

Gundam X ep. 5: I think I'm warming up to this show a bit. It's still not great, but it's getting better by marginal amounts.

Well, I don't watch a lot of Gundam series and I have only watched this one and Gundam Battles Fighters and Try and this has been due to my lack of interest in most mecha anime. However G-Reco was actually interesting to me and what hooked me on the first episode, would have to be Belliri and the epicness of the G-Self. I'm looking forward to seeing how the series progresses and learn more about the connection between Monday and G and learn more about that pink-haired girl that piloting the G-Self Moblie Suit. :)

If you don't mind me asking, what do you find boring about it? :)

Compared to literally any other Gundam series, it's super generic and bland. The characters are boring, the animation's horrid, and MS designs aren't really my thing. There are much, much better Gundam shows out there (Wing and 00 both spring to mind, and are great places to start). Heck, I'm watching X right now and even that's better than G-Reco. It's still not great, but it's still better. The opening theme is literally the only good thing about G-Reco.

I respect your opinion. I would agree with you that the animation isn't the best and most of the characters are boring and bland, but how can you not like Belliri. He's just... a happy-go-lucky type of guy.

I guess I'll watch Gundam Wing next after I finish the series. :)

I guarantee you'll like Wing better. Heero's a lot more serious than Belliri, but the show is quite good.

It can be too on the nose sometimes, from what I've heard. It's why I don't want to watch it.

Like almost all other Gundam shows are better then G-reco from what I've heard. So go with something else.

I found it had way too much exposition that did nothing to tell us about the world they live in. The animation was horrid with terrible looking designs. They were way too cartoony for a Gundam series. Plus, they were just uninteresting and unlikable right from the get go. They seemed like a group of kids that would die in the first five minutes of a horror movie. I also find the mech designs to be overly complicated they don't even look all that impressive compared to Gundams like Zeta, the Deathscythe, and the Unicorn.

I wouldn't say the artstyle is downright horrible. It's a weird mix of Turn A and Eureka 7 that manages to look shittier then both shows' own style despite being so much newer.

Although I have been seeing a few people enjoying g-reco. But I think those guys are UC elitists anyways.

I hate the designs to Eureka 7 though (don't care for the show either). Not too big of a fan of the Turn A ones either, but I can deal with those.

The designs themselves are good, at least different enough for me to enjoy, it's the animation that is lacking.

Eh, I find the plot interesting enough, but it is badly told.

Just finished the Freeza saga of DBZ and my god, they were doing one manga chapter per episode. In fact, there was one episode that only had two panels from the manga in the entire episode. Now the debate comes to whether or not I want to sit through the Garlic saga. <shivers>

Done with The Ambition of Oda Nobuna. Next is Dog & Scissors.

Eh... I thought Dog and Scissors was alright... wasn't one of the good animes I'd say.

Restarted watching the Cell Games Arc of Dragon Ball Z. Loving it! And all of the epicness and nostalgia is coming back to me. :)
