Okay, I like the fake out with EggRobo, intentional or not.
I was thinking "Oh god, this thing again." But it's a mass produced version, That's cool, makes it look like Eggman is improving upon his past designs, which was something I always like in the classic series. And Classic Sonic is here...seems kinda redundant to have a representation of the 2D games when we already have a new 2D game coming, but okay. Not sure what they'd do here. Pretty sure they're not going for a Generations thing again with past level designs. Might be all original levels with just a split between the two. Still kinda odd. Or it's all 3D and they just have different abilities... Yeah lots of speculation here. Hope the CG trailer is actually featured somewhere in the game this time. |

So I gotta ask. Was I the only one here that (attempted) to watch that mess of a stream? Because it was pretty bad, and apparently got even worse after the reveal of Mania, which is where I had to stop simply because of how awful the stream already was with audio glitches and quality drops. From the looks of it, I missed some really awkward stuff.

I’m a sucker for retro gaming so the new 2D Sonic game hits home for me, and the 3D Sonic game is at least a sequel or a similar idea to Sonic Generations. As far as I’m concerned Sonic fans have some cool stuff to look forward to.

Sonic Mania gave me tingles, and the 2017 project looks promising too. Exciting times ahead.
